  Look closely.  It should be under file > processing of multiple files.  Make sure you don't overwrite your original files.

  If a single file, make a copy of the file, create your image in a separate layer and reduce the opacity.  Then flatten image and save it.

I'm on After Effects text animation and somehow I was able to make my text go forward and back (a bit like a sign that blows in the Breeze) for my first word, but now I'm not able to find this option more. Does anyone know how to make this happen? I thought that's the direction that I think is supposed to happen when you use the rotation mode but all I have is the ability to rotate.   No need to shout, even if I'm not native English, I understood your question very well, and this can be done with the enhanced TextArea widget as I mentioned. Here is a screenshot:

  

  Workflow:

  • Create a user variable, I scored it
  • Insert twice the widget with variable TextArea (Jim Leichliter, CaptivatePro), on the screen, these are the two rectangles on the bottom red and blue
  • Configure the first Widget to be associated with v_text and show this variable by inserting a default $$ v_text$ $
  • Configure the second Widget to display this variable by inserting returns a default $$ v_text$ $
  • You will need a button to refresh, so that the text appears in the second widget. Here I used the button, and then assigned to the action "Jump to slide" with the same number of slide so that the playback head rewound to the beginning of the slide
    
  • The text in the second widget shows; as you can see, it can be formatted as you wish.

  If you want to display the text in another slide, no need to make the action update, it automatically displays when you get to this slide.

  It is not a text caption that is displayed, but the widget. Is this a problem?

  It is not possible to do so if the underlying text is just static. You can do so if it is a part of a Field object.

  The same happens to change the color of the box itself. Possible with a field, not a binding object.

  In frame 1 of the script in a layer named 'OLD' is some actionscript that loads an external file, 'Content.xml '. When I looked through the film library, I opened a couple of movieClips that have text on them and declared that it has attached actionscript which reads in the contents of this file .xml as the text of these clips.

  It seems that the text you are looking for is in the .xml file. If the .xml is also poorly organized in the library for this movie, so it can take a bit of research to find the text you want to change.
