How can I mount a disk on a virtual computer image?

I have a very old server rack.  I recently bought a Dell PowerEdge R510 and installed a copy under license of ESXi.  I use Acronis to create a disk to a file server image and mount it on a virtual machine with more disk space and RAM.  I tried a market dry with a small XP Pro workstation.  Everything is fine except that I can't get past the login because it requires a key.  The only keys that I have are OEM key and they do not seem to work with the operating system installed on a virtual machine.  The server running Server 2003 and I am sure that the key is a standalone version.  Before I image 500 GB, I was wondering if anyone has done this and if it will work.  Thanks in advance.

Welcome to communities - the best way to carry a load of physical work to your new host ESXi VMware Converter - https://www.vmware.com/tryvmware/?p=converter - which I think also would allow you to read the Acronis image, but I could be wrong.

    OR for a Vista reinstall:

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

    Your computer may have a recovery partition which is accessible when you first start the computer (usually by typing the key F9 several times will begin the recovery process).

    This will reinstall Windows back to the point when you received everything first, therfore backup important data files (Documents, photos, music, etc.) on external before starting. Be prepaired to reinstall all the software can also be purchased and installed (rounding up of multimedia installation and product key codes).

    I see, well it's unfortunate bloody.

    Ideally you would have a package (utility package or something) with objects like that, that can be shared between the development environment, unless you never have an interface code (each package is entirely distinct from all other packages, and honestly, it's not likely to happen).

    I guess that your only option (I think) If you are concerned with memory usage would be to remove the table while assigning a new.

    For i In va_Teste.First..va_Teste.Last
    Loop
      va_Teste2(va_Teste2.count+1) := va_Teste(i);
      va_Teste.DELETE(i);

    Please explain exactly what you mean.  You want to copy your commercial DVD on your hard drive (movies)?

    If so, the answer is Yes, if you have a big enough hard.  Each disk DVD movie will take about 9 GB of hard disk space.
