  I bought Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard (student and teacher edition) when I started studying, but I have installed in the PC no longer works. My new laptop is a macbook, so how do I use my subscription on this laptop? I tried to download the CS5 Design Standard of the Adobe Web site, but it does not accept my product key, saying "this serial number is not valid for this product". So, what should I do? I am still a student so I can't afford to update for cc, but I need very expensive Adobe products for my thesis.

  If your student permit is a Mac version, then you should be able to download CS5.5 and activate it with your serial number.  Your serial number does not work for another version, so try to get the work of CS5 will not get anywhere.  CS5 and CS5.5 are two quite different versions (5.5 should have been 6)

  Before you uninstall the creative applications cloud deactivation is required. To disable the subscription, you can launch any product (photoshop, dreamweaver, etc.)

  go to help menu and you will find the option disable. This will disable the entire subscription and you don't need to do it for all products.

  After you cancel the subscription, you can uninstall the products one by one.

  You can then go to the new machine and connect to www.creative.adobe.com, connection, and then start downloading the products.

  You don't move, you must install them correctly by using your original or downloaded installation media installers and serial numbers. Turn off your programs on your old system, also using Help--> Deactivate. When you install, obey the command of the correct version - older versions before to avoid the more recent conflicts.   You can install Lightroom on your new computer and transfer the complete catalog as well as all the original images of the current machine again in order to get access to the same changes and complete library.
