How can I network my 2 computers using a D-Link router?

Connect my Palm on the floor my downstair computer use D Link router

I used the before router on my desktop upstairs.    I'm already logged down, but, I've learned how to connect the computer to the floor using my D Link Wireless Router.  Can you help me please?  Really like the use of this router can you help me?
