  I have Windows XP running on a controller NI PXI-8106. On this same controller, I have two mapped drives.
  1 C drive where Windows is installed
  2-external SATA drive mounted in RAID0 used to save sensitive data in our application.

  We discovered that Windows update has written files to disk external DRIVE instead of the local drive as we would expected. What could I do to prevent this. It is very important for us, given that the RAID0 data should not be upset by any means. We cannot update Windows to write outside of the C: drive.

  I look on various forums and it seems that I'm not the only one in this situation where Windows Update writes data to an external HARD drive, but I have not seen anywhere a solution to avoid this, in addition to unmaping the drive.

  During the installation of updates, Windows Update downloads the installers (only) for updates to the drive with free space available. You can either disconnect the external drive when you need and/or free up space on, for example, your boot drive.

  MP4 is usually a video file, I honestly didn't even know MP4 pourrait be used for audio, but this is beyond my skills.  I know that to convert files types, you will need to download a conversion program, Microsoft is no not any program that can do this.

  As for the deleted files that appears, open the Organize menu at the top of the media player, select 'manage libraries' and make sure that it is scanning the correct files.

  If the correct files are analyzed and double presents itself once again, right click on a song in double and select properties to find its location.  And then delete it from here, rather than media player directly.

Deploying a number of virtual desktops using VMWare View via Dell FX - 100 Zero Clients.  After a few calls for VMWare support all get up and running, most of the time I am extremely satisfied.  However, after 10 minutes of inactivity, the VMs go to "sleep", I have configured Windows mode 'High Performance' and 'Never' all set, I changed the OSD on the FX100 "0 (off), nothing seems to work.  It of something I'll just have to deal with, or is there something that I am missing.  This is important because once we go to full production, these machines will be used in a call 911 public safety Center and must stay up permanently.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
