How can I remove the logo of 'Windiows Vista Starter' in my office?

Unfortunately, the answer to the same question on September 11, 2009 by a. abdelhak does not work on my system. I have a labtop Compac Presario sold and used in South America with the original (I guess) version installed by the seller. the logo is rather disturbing because it covers some of the info from programs that I use all the time and I have to resize the window several times a day, not very effective. Please someone find me a solution, thank you.

Some say that's not possible.  I may have found a way (I think) but he sin't easy and it's a little advanced (in fact, very advanced).

If you disable the windows file protection, you can change the dll at will. And then you will find the logo of "watermark" Vista Starter in the c:\windows\system32\en-US\user32.dll file. You use a program likehttp://delphi.icm.edu.pl/ftp/tools/ResHack.zip delete you the bitmap image in the file, and then replace the DLL once you're started in mode of boot¨ of ¨safe.
I don't know if I would try this myself, but I present it as the only viable option I could find.  Before you do this (if you want to try), to create a system restore point AND back up the registry just to be on the safe side.

    Click OK
    Click Format, and then click next to proceed with the installation

    Skip entering your product key Windows 7 and complete the installation.

    When you reach the desktop, click Start, right-click on computer

    Click on properties

    Scroll down to the Windows Activation

    Click the link x days before activation.

    Click on the link that says: "show me other ways to activate.

    Enter the product key

    Click next

    Select the Activation of the phone

    Click Next when you enter your key page

    Select your country

    Click Next, call the number listed

    Be sure to explain your situation to the Appeals Officer.

    They will give a confirmation ID, enter it

    Click next to complete the activation.

    I don't think you can remove the default books. I open any personal book, select a contact, do a control + a to select all and drag in the personal address book by default. Then delete the empty book. Then do the same for the collected books.

    Make sure that the userContent.css file is a CSS (cascading style sheet) file and is not a hidden .txt file extension.

    You will be perhaps easier to delete bookmarks you don't want in the list of the bookmarks library.
