My son has accidentally installed Macsweeper on my computer. Now, when I open Safari my home page has been changed to Trovi and extra hours I try to change it, it is up to you find. I am constantly alert to scan my computer and random pop ups. How can I stop this?

Gold mine was still active. I remove drive x, Trovi was still active. Removing Firefox and Chrome in the hope that their infection was causing problems for Safari. Safari still has Trovi.

Symptoms in Safari. Trying to extensions appear in the window of the browser generates an empty list. If something other than trovi homepage work temporarily, but after one or two reboots trovi reappear as homepage, if I put it so that the start-up and the new tab pages are empty after a little window to close and then reappear with trovi appearing in the home page and start and new tabs configured to display the home page. Disabling Javascript blocks ads, but makes other impossible things and nothing to avoid trovi made the homepage.

How can I remove Skins and visualizations in WMP 12?

I'm having a small problem with WMP 12. I downloaded a few visualizations and skins today and installed then in WMP 12. They worked, but I want to uninstall the skins and some of the visualizations. However, I can't remove the visualizations options because the button is grayed out delete (I'm an admin, I even tried to run WMP in admin and the button was not yet available) and I can't find the visualization files in the folder Program Files from WMP to remove what someone suggested in a forum. It is possible that the recovery partition "can" still be fuctional if Linux has not deleted it. I have recently, sort of badly managed to install a copy of 'clean' Vista on the wrong drive. Disk D:\. With the help of the good people at MS, I have intall the 'clean' copy on the good dirve C:\.

However, now that I fixed the problem drive, it leaves me with Vista OS on drive D:\ again.

Can someone tell me how to remove the ill-posed OS off D:\?

Hello. I recently installed a distribution linux (OS elementary, Luna) on my HP Pavilion g6. My pc is preinstalled with Windows 8. I decided to evaluate linux and installed on my computer. I was not paying attention when installing and apparently replaced Windows 8. My question is, how do I get it back? I am a person without any repair records and don't have anyway make one (since I am just a computer nerd aged 15 years). I heard that HP computers have a bios recovery console, but if that's true how to reach it?
