  First of all, check your homepage settings in the Options dialog box. These two articles describe where to find who and how to upgrade:

  Then, try to press Ctrl + n to start a new window. It should display your home page. If it still shows AVG, either:

  (1) someone posted a screen shot of the screen AVG showing a link somewhere (maybe just less?) that allow you to disable AVG showing up while keeping their extension active. You could try that.

  (2) you can disable one or more of your extensions. There is a good chance that it will be an extension of AVG. You can do this on the page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Can find you it?

  I can confirm the issue, Sheena. Seems to be OK until it register you. It shows even correct in the libraries Panel, but as soon as you open the file it certainly does not come to the top with the same file. It; t happens once it is authorized. Before she was allowed it worked fine. You can see in the screenshot below the thumbnail in the library panel is correct but the image open in Illustrator is false.

  I think that I found the definitive answer, in The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom book, the chapter on the merger of two catalogs into one. The trick is to create a new master catalog that starts in white, shoot in the first catalog (does not move the files), then it repeats with the second catalogue, which will search for and avoid the dupes, yet once again move the files.  The end result is a catalog of master handset, with files and all changes for all files in the two catalogues.  It worked for me.  Thank you, you were thinking in the right direction.

  Unfortunately, it cannot be done from within hearing. Adobe Bridge is probably the software you need to do this or there are a few applications available third-party metadata. I use metadata Touch.

  I'm converting my names of folders and files to the standard naming conventions I've added pictures. Some are already in the LR4. Others I did not convert, but it will be easier find duplicates and manage the process within the LR4 EXCEPT for one thing.

  As my file names are incompatible between folders, as I have to standardize their it is often necessary to rename files based on pulling part of the names of existing files - I need something like a LEFT(), RIGHT(), or MID() function.

  For example, I can't use the year because the file has been scanned, but the original year (YYYY) is part of the file name. Same thing for the camera 4-digit assigned number that I use in my standard file naming convention which I conversion. There are other examples, as well.

  A previous post got no answer on how to do this time that a photo was in the catalog, which seems to me that we can't do it now. How can I request this feature? It is essential for the management of old photos during the process of getting them converted to the standard assignment of names and catalogued photos, especially scanned.

  Did you mean an office or a note?
  As far as I know the a Note is part of the recovery Image and the CD is not supplied with the unit. In addition, Toshiba units are not delivered with the Office 2000 software.

  However, have you checked to aid either in Word update function?
