    Hello

If your data is in a table, the easiest is to use the ArrayToFile function.

Automatically, it creates a file and puts your data in it depending on the size you provide.

If you have individual samples you need to write from time to time, you can either collect them in a table and then use ArrayToFile or open a file with fopen and write them as they are acquired with fwrite.

    Hope this helps,

How can I save my files to ensure their safety?

To make sure that you do not lose the files you create, edit and store on your computer, you must save the regularly. You can back up your files any time or manually configure automatic backups.

Note: the ability to set up automatic backups is not included in Windows Vista Starter and Windows Vista Home Basic Edition.

    ·         Click Start, click Control Panel, click system and Maintenance, and then click backup and Restore Center.
    ·         Click back up files, and follow the steps in the wizard.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    Notes

No backup files on the same hard disk that Windows is installed. For example, to make the back not files on a recovery partition.

Always store media used for backups (CD, DVD, or external hard drives) in a safe place in order to prevent unauthorized access to your files; a separate fireproof place of your computer is recommended. You can also consider encrypting the data on your backup.

  • How can I save my files for printing?

I can't find out how to save a file for printing. The file must be transferred to a company that prints your photos on glass (Fracture) they want the file between 16-20MB. Whenever I save it, it is too big. Of course, I want to be high resolution, so I put that at 300 DPI. (resampled to 72). Help, please.

I think that you will be very disappointed with the results if you use a 1867 x 1200 for this image.

When you resample an image, Photoshop has invent the missing pixels, and in this case, the majority of the pixels in the image will have to be invented.

If the image is from a digital camera, get your hands on the original, which is can be much larger.

According to the homepage of Fracture, they want a 6480 x 8460 image at 300ppi for your format.

300 DPI is probably overkill for this size, my guess is that 180 dpi might be enough.

In this case, the image must be 4320 x 5760, which is what would produce a 24 megapixels.

You might even get away with upsampling an image from a camera megapixels 15 or 16 years.

Ask what they think of the Fracture.

Regarding the 20 MB limit, save the file in jpg format, and then choose the highest quality that will not exceed 20 MB.

To get a better understanding of how how digital images work, take a look at this page: which is a digital image?

  • PDF files: How can you save a file so that you can select and copy some text?

I have some difficulty to save PDF files in photoshop.

I saved a handful of PDF files, but I am only able to select and copy the text in some areas. These files have different areas that contain text. You are able to highlight a part of the text, but in other areas, you can not (even if they have the same font).

The question is, which gives the text the ability to be selected and copied during registration as a PDF document?

    Including...

Using BOLD, ITALICS or ALL uppercase in the settings of character disables the ability to highlight and copy the text once the file is saved in PDF format.

    2. Select the files you want to download.
    3. Click Download at the top of the list of files. Your files will be downloaded in the download on your computer folder.

  • How can I save a file, flash or swf flv file?

I created a flash banner and I need to send it by email in flv format. Is one knows how to convert swf or fla in flv files?

    Thank you

Only accept FLV files to 40 KB? Ouch... Well, I'll tell you this, I never work on ads or banners, etc., so I don't have to deal with these strict file size settings. But, when it comes to video, you have only one option to reduce the size of the file: Compress compress compress.

You must choose a very low flow (aka the flow) of your FLV video file when you compress the MOV file. And, probably, it will make it look pretty crumby... You need to define your data until the absolute minimum setting rate.

Data rate is the measure in Kbps (kilobits per second), such as 700 Kbps (a rate of data current, typical for video which is suitable for high speed Internet).

Either way, I find rather strange they need for a video file, from a simple Flash SWF animation, small (which is more to do with my banner / bandwidth limit not taken conscience than anythings, however). It makes your job a little more difficult and adds seemingly useless measures... They really demand that all THE animations of the banner of the video and not the Flash SWF animations? Make sure that you know 100% what their specs are AND also ask to see other examples of ad banner you can see the evidence that the other animations have received tot hem with the same specifications. I can't believe that a video file will be<>

Familiarize themselves with the help of Adobe Media Encoder. If you are not comfortable using it, simply search online tutorials on this subject, which won't be easy to find.

See the image as an attachment. I did a 60 image SWF animation (30 frames per second, duration total only 2 seconds) of a busy area at top left to stage right, less than 300 x 200 (per your spec) size. Nothing Basic, simple, crazy. Flash, I exported the MOV file and introduced the present in Adobe Media Encoder CS5. Definition of the new video to FLV format and affecting the data rate 5 (crazy low setting). The file size came down to ~ 110 KB.

    Good luck!

  • How can I save a file that is larger than 2gigs without having to compress the image or reduce 16-bit to 8-bit?

is this possible? I tried to save in a .psd file and I got a message saying it cannot save to the disk because it is bigger than 2gigs. ! I could really use some advice on saving a photo that I need to keep the highest quality for the very strong impression!

    Hi Kareen-

This problem can lead to a lot of things but don't forget that to save a large file, you need to provide Photoshop with good use of CPU and good work record

first try to set photoshop giving him memory: go in Edition > Preferences > Performance in memory use increase the Ps memory can store more in your ram... (what economy try closing all other efficiency programs)

in Performance tab there is a group called "History & Cache": If your file is large itd be interesting to use as many levels of cache (maybe 8) and tile caching during about 1028 k size also affect the size of the large, flat tile

in Scratch Disk leave photoshop now uses its temp file in all your drives for better performance

If this doesn't work for you let me know your sys. config. and the amount of layers has your file
