How can my child get around the parental control of Microsoft?

I don't know how she does it. It becomes by absolutely everything and visit Web sites that she shouldn't be able to. She has a list of permissions. I know she's on her cell phone and there are days when family safety said that there has been no activity.

In addition, she has been able to download applications or software. It's scary for me. She was able to see the screen of others of his laptop computer. What is c? Can you block apps like this to be downloaded?

I'm just trying to protect my child!

Thank you for your help.

Lora

I do not know the true ' in and out ' of this, but it seems that such things have been reported before. See the following links:

As examples of similar sounding.

For starters, dual control she has a 'user' and not an account "Admin". ( http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-users-account-type#1TC=windows-7 )

I hope that someone can have better advice that personally I have never used Family Safety myself so I do not know its true limits.

You can comment at microsoft here - http://support.microsoft.com/common/survey.aspx?scid=sw;en-us;2310&altStyle=MFE&renderOption=OverrideDefault&showpage=1&fr=1&nofrbrand=1 - but I don't know what use it really is.

  • How can a child navigatorContent access its parent?

    I have 1 mx:ViewStack with 3 children s:NavigatorContent inside.

    Ho can I get access to the child element (NavigatorContent) property SelectedIndex of the parent (ViewStack)?

    I tried event.target.parent.parent.myViewStackid.selectedIndex = 1 but never succeed.

    [using Flash Builder 4beta2]

    Thank you very much

    Hello

    Yes disatching an event is the way to go. Here's the same example with this extra.

    Heres the Hotel component

    http://ns.Adobe.com/MXML/2009.

    xmlns:s = "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark".

    xmlns:MX = "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/halo" width = "400" height = "300" >

    protected function editButton_clickHandler(event:MouseEvent):void

    {

    dispatchEvent (new Event ('myButtonClick'));

    }

    ]]>

    [Event (name = "myButtonClick" type = "flash.events.Event")]

    You can see the sent button event handler and event called myButtonClick. Notice the tag . This tells the compiler to flex what we call this event and the type of event it is. Otherwise said, he will expose in mxml and you can listen to it in the main file.

    This is the main file

    http://ns.Adobe.com/MXML/2009.

    xmlns:s = "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark".

    "xmlns:MX ="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/halo"minWidth ="1024"minHeight ="768"xmlns:local =" * ">

    protected function hotelcomp1_myClickHandler(event:Event):void

    {

    viewstack1. SelectedIndex = 0;

    }

    ]]>

    You can see here now in the viewstack in the mxml hotelComp that I have listed for the myButtonClick exactly as I would any other event and it called the hotel1Comp_myClickHandler that defines the index selected to 0.

    Hope that is kind to you.

  • Cannot add child account to the parental control

    No matter how many times I add my child account to watch safely from the family, it does not work. The account appears in the list of monitored accounts and has the correct options I selected via the Family Safety however website when my child connects his account said "this account is not monitored by parental control.

    I deleted the computer AND the child of the Family Safety options site. I uninstalled and reinstalled parental control over the child's laptop computer but the account is STILL without oversight and shows via the control panel in Windows 7.

    When I log on the site of Family Safety on that account child watch the monitored account as 'white' "computername" when "in white" should be the account on the laptop.

    I am a computer professional and cannot understand it. What other options do I have?

    ANSWER FOUND!

    I found the answer on a long search of these forums...

    I had this problem because the computer name was the same as the name of my child's account. I changed the name of the computer to another one of his account on the computer and I was able to successfully activate Parental controls through parental controls on the computer.

  • How can I make reference to the parent object of a checkbox?

    I have a checkbox called P105_CBX, with 10 boxes. I have an onClick = "RunThisFunction (this) ' in the attributes of elements in HTML form for this object." When I click on one of the boxes, this function is triggered. An alert at the top of this function tells me that the argument passed to this function is something like P105_CBX_2, which indicates how box has been checked.

    I would LIKE to pass just the name parent of the object checkbox, P105_CBX, as the argument to this function, instead of the name of the box that was checked and I cannot quite understand how. I tried arguments such as this.container this.parentNode, this.parent, this.parents (), this.closest ('ul') and I've yet to find the magic word. After two hours of searching on Google, I'm turning to the experts.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    I couldn't reproduce your behavior. Maybe this is related to your prob? http://seanmonstar.com/post/707125202/parentNode-misbehavior-in-IE, but more likely, you have already seen it.

    In your code, you may also like to try the function $x_UpTill: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23903_01/doc/doc.41/e21676/javascript_api.htm#CHDEGGGI

    function RunThisFunction (cbx) {}

    }

  • How can I make reference to the parent, without using _parent or _root?

    I can't use the following in my ActionScript because of conflicts with the host application:

    _level0

    _root

    _parent references

    A pop-up window I have a button closure with an absolute reference:
    closeBtn.onRelease = function () {}
    unloadMovie ("_level0. Page_1.holderBox");
    }
    Is there another way to do this job without use _level0 or _parent?
    I read that it is possible to use a global variable on the main timeline and ref, but cannot get that to work.

    You may need to try several different approaches (it's what I would do), but you may be able to target just the owner directly using the variable global and not necessary to include the reference Page_1 with her...

    section 1:

    _Global.mcVar = null;

    later...

    _level0. Page_1.imgholder.image0_0.boxS.onRelease = function() {}

    createEmptyMovieClip ("holderBox", getNextHighestDepth ());

    holderBox.attachMovie ("boxSound", "boxSound_mc", 0);

    _Global.mcVar = holderBox;

    };

    If this does not work, try to move in after every time holderBox is added in Page_1 and include Page_1 in the assignment as I showed earlier.

    The only question the idea of Malkeleah, that is when you put a password on BIOS, all you need to do is pop the battery from the motherboard and the password is gone. Faronics has in some programs such as anti-executable and a few other programs that may block the name or ID of a process and prevent it from running (some antiviruses have that option, such as Avast, but usually is a pain in the ass to configure)

  • How to get around the problem of printing from the printer driver Adobe PDF for Notepad instead of a PDF Document?

    How to get around the problem of printing from the printer driver Adobe PDF for Notepad instead of a PDF Document? I tried the tool 'Repair Acrobat Installation' and other problems listed on the forums, but nothing worked. In the Notepad document is the following ' % [ProductName: distill] % X937B6DD4 not found, using the mail service.» X07BB154E not found, by using the messaging service. % [Page: 1] %% % [Page: 2] % % [Page: 3] % % [Page: 4] % % [Page: 5] % X4EEBB81F not found, by using the messaging service. %% [Error: invalidfont;] OffendingCommand: show; ErrorInfo: CharOffsets ss %% [Flushing: rest of work (end of file) will be ignored] %% %% [warning: PostScript error.] No PDF file produced. ] %%."

    The log file indicates that the Distiller cannot find fonts and besides, fonts with very weird names. (These names can often appear when printing from an application, WPF such as Internet Explorer 9, 10 or 11.)

    My best guess is that the problem is with the options set for the PostScript of PDF from Adobe printer driver instance. Exit the application you were initially impression since. Open the Adobe PDF printer Properties . Then click the Advanced tab. Then click on the button default printing . This should produce a significant window default print Adobe PDF is already opened in the Adobe PDF settings tab. On this tab, there is a checkbox to rely on system only fonts; do not use fonts in the document. If this box is checked, uncheck it and press apply , then OK. Then go to the general tab and press the button Preferences giving the window entitled Adobe PDF printing preferences. Again once, look for the box to rely on system only fonts; do not use document fonts. If this box is checked, uncheck it and press apply , then OK. Then back in the Adobe PDF Properties dialog box main, press apply (if it is enabled), and then click OK. Re-enter the app you were original print and try to print again. Let us know if that fixes the problem.

    -Dov

    PS: Unfortunately, rely on fonts system only turned on by default, causing problems for many applications. I always recommend turning it off (i.e., unchecking it)!
