  I bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro A300D laptop a few days ago.
  The first task was to wipe Vista Home Premium there and put professional Vista I needed to connect to a domain.

  I did this and then install the drivers from the Toshiba driver download pages.
  There were a lot of riders who have failed, but I managed to fix most of the problems aside when I display the laptop to a projector, I can start cutting the bottom of the external display only.

  I think that this is not possible because the recovery of HARD drive contains only unique image files and you will not be able to get only the unique drivers of the recovery image.

  HARD drive recovery can be used to perform a new installation of operating system from the HARD disk (without using the disc).

  The European driver Toshiba page usually contains all drivers Vista compatible and necessary for your laptop model. So I doubt that your problem with the projector might have something to do with the Vista drivers.

  The built-in mic is part of the webcam, which means that you need to download the driver for the webcam that you can get here:

  After installation, it should be possible to use the internal mic. :)

  Generally, all the drivers are placed on the Toshiba driver download page. There is an audio driver for normal output audio (speakers) and the webcam software. The latter you must also for micro because it s a part of webcam.

  I wonder if someone can help me. I'm having a lot of problems with my new laptop at the moment, and I'm now about to re - format and reinstall Windows.
  The question is this: when you browse the Web site with pictures or embedded videos, display struggles to scroll to the bottom and is very 'jerky' and slow. This happens in two & Firefox Internet Explorer.
  Its not just web browsers that have the problem, Word, Excel etc. all I have this problem. I produce a lot of documents and sometimes necessary, scroll through them - and performance when you scroll is a joke!

  I contacted ATI and they have washed their hands of this issue and refuse to do something.
  I tried the latest drivers, the drivers supplied with the laptop, restored to the latest drivers, made an update of the BIOS, chipset update firmware, update driver processor etc... and nothing has worked! Have really no idea on how to move forward from this.

  Any ideas / suggestions would be greatly appreciated - or if someone needs additional information, I'll check this thread.

  My husband managed to dislodge a key on my keyboard CAP and broke the clip white scissors that holds up on... (don't ask me how)

  I was wondering if anyone has an idea of the model/serial number of the keyboard used in the Satellite Pro A300D-151 (PSAK9E) so I can get the correct replacement part.

  I really don't want to have to replace the entire keyboard when it's just 1 scissor clips which is broken... the laptop is only 5 months old.

  Boyfriend sorry but it is not possible to exchange a few individual keys on a keyboard, so in this case, you must replace the full keyboard. But normally, it shouldn't be so difficult.
  Either you exchange the keyboard yourself or you sent the laptop to the authorized service provider.

  The model number for the keyboard is not known to me but contact your ASP! They can order all the parts of Toshiba and they should know the right part number.

  You must install the Win XP SP3!
  This package must be installed BEFORE installing the audio driver.

  Install SP3
  Then remove the audio driver (already installed) system
  Go to Device Manager and remove the sound chip of the list of devices
  Restart the device
  Now reinstall the sound card driver.

  Should work as it worked in my case as well

  I recently got a nice new Satellite Pro A300D of my work and was just my typical thing to go through the update of their efforts. However, when you try to update the firmware of the DVD drive for my particular model (PSAK9E-00C003EN), I realized that the firmware he suggested was wrong. After watching on my pc, I discovered that my drive is Pioneer DVD - RW DVRTD08A (1.50), but I can't find information anywhere on the net about the updates of the firmware (or the existence of this drive at all!). Could someone point me in the direction of some information and firmware more recent if it exists?

  Satellite Pro A300D was equipped of various CD/DVD players.
  On the Toshiba driver page, you can find an update of the firmware that came out for a CD/DVD drive that was not installed in your laptop and so you can not install this update.

  If you are unable to find an update of the firmware of your CD/DVD drive, then an update doesn't exist and is not necessary!

  There could still be dust stuck in the radiator, but you say that its only 3 weeks to dust is unlikely.

  Its under warranty, so take it to a Service Center for repair. This may have the thermal grease refreshed or something.

  Mobile this series is M - ATI HD 3650. ATI Tray Tools shows me XP
  BIOS GPU/MEM 600/500 and the current is respectivetly 297/247, 5.
  And no possibility to overclock to new values. Guys, WTF? Two times less?
  I can't even run GTA4 on medium settings as I promised before. I know this problem no drivers from ATI, but in the Toshiba power management.
  And... all of the drivers are the latest version (I just offtopically wonder why 8.479 pilot display only is not supported unlike Vista one). But even in 'Full power' mode of * Toshiba Power Saver * is not working.
