  I've been using Windows since 1985. Just got a second Windows 7 (64-bit Home Premium), computer (Dell 3000 s) and when the initial installation has started like a fool I typed a password. I don't want a password. It is a computer in the home, no one else will use it and not worth a thing on this subject hiding so the NSA can get bored to death.   You can use this method, which has been around since Windows 2000:

  1. press Windows + R key on your keyboard.
  2. Enter the following command and press ENTER:

  4. uncheck the box that requires users to enter a password.
  5. click on OK.

  7. Click on Disconnect.
  8. Type the password to Microsoft.
  9. Click Next and click switch.
