  • How to apply different styles to several spry accordion panels?

    Hi all

    I have a site I'm building that has several functions that spry accordion.

    I try to apply different styles to each accordion. A problem arises when I try to place an accordion in an another accordion.

    I have style two images of different background for both of the accordians for styles (AccordionPanelTab, AccordionPanelTabHover and AccordionPanelOpen AccordionPanelTabHover) that work very well.

    When I try and place an accordion in an another accordion background image for this Accordion for styles (AccordionPanelTab and AccordionPanelOpen AccordionPanelTabHover) has different style applied that I said in the accordion.css folder, however the style (AccordionPanelTabHover) has the same style as the accordion, it's breast, even if I said a background image in the accordion.css file different.

    I hope this makes sence, below is my source and the CSS Code.

    Good guys.

    I thought about it, if someone had the same problem as me and a look at this thread for the answer, here it is.

    Firstly if you are wanting to separately style two or more Spry accordions that are not on the other example

    Label 1

    Insert content here

    Label 1

    Insert content here

    Do not do this, as long as you have separate ID's for the div (which dreamweaver automatically anyway), you will be fine.

    However if for some reason, you want to put one accordion inside another like I did for example

    Label 1

    Insert content here

    Label 1

    Insert content here

    Too style accordion 1 and 2 so their tabs have different origins and Hover background when the content panel is open and closed you need to style it in CSS that they follow the path;

    CSS

    #Accordion1. {AccordionPanelTab}

    height: 75px;

    Width: 285px;

    Background: url (.. /images/package_spry_tab_bg.png) ;}

    #Accordion1. AccordionPanelTabHover,

    #Accordion1. AccordionPanelOpen. {AccordionPanelTabHover}

    height: 75px;

    Width: 285px;

    Background: url (.. /images/package_spry_tab_bg_RO.png) ;}

    #Accordion2. {AccordionPanelTab}

    height: 44px;

    Width: 469px;

    Background: url (.. /images/packages_spry.png) ;}

    #Accordion2. AccordionPanelClosed. AccordionPanelTabHover,

    #Accordion2. AccordionPanelOpen. {AccordionPanelTabHover}

    height: 44px;

    Width: 469px;

    Background: url (.. /images/packages_spry_ro.png) ;}

    Normally in styling two separate spry accordions, you can simply use the following code

    #Accordion1. {AccordionPanelTab}

    height: 75px;

    Width: 285px;

    Background: url (.. /images/package_spry_tab_bg.png) ;}

    #Accordion1. AccordionPanelTabHover,

    #Accordion1. AccordionPanelOpen. {AccordionPanelTabHover}

    height: 75px;

    Width: 285px;

    Background: url (.. /images/package_spry_tab_bg_RO.png) ;}

    The only difference with the style one Spry Accordion in another so that they have different horizons stationary when the content panel is open and closed ".» AccordionPanelClosed ".

    Hope this has helped someone who had the same problem, I was.

  • How to apply several styles of one-sentence paragraphs?

    I'm using paragraph styles, but is not useful because I am applying 2 different styles in the same sentence that does not work.

    To make it work, I selects the sentence, apply the style, for example 'xfont-regular"then I select the word in the sentence that I want to have a different style and I choose in the list perhaps italic police so that it looks like 'something like this'

    Of course, in doing so, I lose all the benefits of the use of styles p and of course, it's so your time. Is it possible to break down the sentence, now in the same line, so that I can apply different styles to it? and always keep the benefits to go just to styles and make the changes to the entire document that this style is applied.

    Thank you

    As Diane King mentioned, nested character styles may work for your need. His example was an initial capital of fall (multiline first one or several letters of a paragraph.) Dropped caps are a particular type of nested style - always the very first one or more characters in a paragraph, high on two or more lines.

    To use the general type of nested style, you must be able to identify the words in the paragraph which gets the nested character style. For example, the third word, or the first two words after the first semicolon. If there is no model of Word (s) that can be identified by the post office or the sequence, it is possible that a GREP style can be used to find a common pattern of characters and apply a style of character to it, for example a phone number, the date, or the amount of currency that is identified by a dollar sign book, or yuan.

    Search Help for InDesign and Google "Style nested InDesign', 'InDesign grep Style' and similar (without the quotes) terms for more details. There has been many discussions of GREP on this forum.

  • How to apply a style object with attributes

    Hi all
    I'm working on InDesign CS4 plugin. and to apply the style to the object on the page elements.
    When I apply the style of the object to the page element, only an object style is applied to these elements on the page, but do not ask for its attribute.
    for example, TextFrameObjectStyle that have the stroke value 8, while TextFrameObjectStyle is appying but stroke value does not apply.

    IStyleGroupManager InterfacePtr < IStyleGroupManager > (document-> GetDocWorkSpace(), IID_IOBJECTSTYLEGROUPMANAGER);

    ObjectStyleUID UID = iStyleGroupManager-> FindByName (inStyleNameStr);

  • How quickly apply a style that is located in a group of style?

    I'm just trying apply a style to a table cell. Imagine myRow has been set for the row in the table, I work with, and My Fancy Style is the cell style that I created in my InDesign document.

    myRow.cells.item (0) .appliedCellStyle = "My Fancy Style."

    apply apparently this style quickly and without fuss. But now, if I created a style Group called fancy Styles through the InDesign user interface, and put my cell Style fancy inside, so I don't know any way to call directly as a string of text. It is possible somehow as:

    myRow.cells.item (0) .appliedCellStyle = "Styles of fantasy / My Fancy cell Style ';"

    of course I know does not work. I ask if there is a way as to make what I hope. Thank you!

    Why not just

    myStyle = app.documents [0].cellStyleGroups.item ("fancy Styles'). cellStyles.item ("Fancy cell Style");

  • How to apply the Style to some words in a paragraph (or table)?

    I have a table with the #'s. Some numbers have a note marked with an asterisk.

    For example:

    A01-121600

    A01-121602

    A01-121608 *.

    A01-121610

    A01-121611 *.

    And in this table, there are hundreds of part # s with some with reference asterisks scattered through. I wish that the asterisks to be red in color and a smaller font size. So I created a character style to reflect that.

    So, my question is there a way to apply this new character Style to the entire table, then each asterisk is changed?

    Thank you.

    The find/replace field allows you to apply a character Style to all the text found.

    Another option: If all the text in your table is formatted with a paragraph Style, you could add a GREP style to add this character Style to all instances of an asterisk in the text of this paragraph Style. This way, if the new numbers of the asterisk was added later, the asterisk turns to Red style automatically.

  • How to apply a menu bar exact to several pages?

    I have a sidebar witch repeat itself more than 7 other pages.

    If I need to change one or more components in the content of the sidebar, I must cross all seven files and change each one individually.

    I came to the conclusion that it would be much more ergonomic to have this side bar in a way that creates changes to the sidebar to all other files, after its amendment in one of them.

    How much?

    Create it as a separate file, then, somehow, embed it in others? ("How many?" once more)

    Any suggestion will be appreciated...

    I have a little problem. How to apply existing styles. Different style to the first, second and third paragraph of the story/selection. I think it's simple, but I can't solve the problem. Thank you.

    var paraStyle1 = app.activeDocument.paragraphStyles.itemByName ("style1");

    var paraStyle2 = app.activeDocument.paragraphStyles.itemByName ("style2");

    etc.

    mySelection.paragraphs [0] .appliedParagraphStyle = paraStyle1;

    mySelection.paragraphs [1] .appliedParagraphStyle = paraStyle2;

    etc.

  • How to apply a character Style that has already been made in a document model?

    First of all, I would like to thank everyone who helps. I am a complete newbie to the script and appreciate your help.

    I mainly use GREP expressions to search for patterns in a document and apply a character Style that has already been done. This character style did not help script, but just in InDesign when the production and implementation of the model.

    var myDoc = app.activeDocument;

    //Clear the find/change grep preferences.
    app.findGrepPreferences = NothingEnum.nothing;
    app.changeGrepPreferences = NothingEnum.nothing;

    //Set the find options.
    app.findChangeGrepOptions.includeFootnotes = false;
    app.findChangeGrepOptions.includeHiddenLayers = false;
    app.findChangeGrepOptions.includeLockedLayersForFind = false;
    app.findChangeGrepOptions.includeLockedStoriesForFind = false;
    app.findChangeGrepOptions.includeMasterPages = false;

    //GREP Expression for finding all HEADERS
    app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = ".+\n";

    //Applying formatting changes to put into All Caps, Bold and changing the font size to 12 pt.
    app.changeGrepPreferences.capitalization = Capitalization.allCaps;
    app.changeGrepPreferences.fontStyle = "Bold";
    app.changeGrepPreferences.pointSize = "12";
    myDoc.changeGrep();

    //Clear the find/change preferences after the search.
    app.findGrepPreferences = NothingEnum.nothing;
    app.changeGrepPreferences = NothingEnum.nothing;

    This is how I currently. I will manually define the changes made to the text. The problem is, each model uses a different set of fonts and not all use them "BOLD", for example Sabon can use THIS "BOLD".

    I would like to know how to apply a character Style and tried to look, but nothing seems to work.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    app.changeGrepPreferences.appliedCharacterStyle = "A";

  • How to change the paragraph style to each paragraph that contains only one anchored object?

    Hello

    I have a document in word that should be converted in indesign. The document contains instructions, each step followed by an image.

    I managed to import the document into Indesign and applied a paragraph with numbering style to everything (text, image).

    Now, how do I change the the paragraph style to each paragraph that contains only an image? I need to get rid of the numbering.

    Thanks in advance.

    If the images are all anchored objects, you can use find/replace to find the anchor point and change the paragraph style only once for all paragraphs.

  • How change the style of bread crumbs - RoboHelp 11 don't behave?

    Short version: Breadcrumbs in CHM files are not displayed the styles that I have configured HR.

    Long version:

    • Spin RH11.
    • Work in an HTML project, generating a CHM for output.
    • I have a Master Page for the project, in which I generated a placeholder of breadcrumb. I removed the formatting of the placeholder code, so I left that looks like this:
      • <? "type HR-placeholder ="bread crumbs"ph-align = '0' Ms-char =" "& gt;" home = 'Home' usetopicformat = '0' ph-style = ""? >

    • This Page Master refers to the default CSS file: < link rel = "StyleSheet" href = "default.css" type = "text/css" / > "
    • Each section uses this Master Page.
    • Through the project manager, I double-click the default.css file in order to change the appearance of the bread crumbs. Changes through these parameters:
      Styles.gif
    • When recording this, RH place the following code in the default.css file. * Please note (below) that it fails to specify the font, I chose - odd.

    {a.breadcrumbs:Link}

    do-size: 8pt;

    color: #808080;

    }

    {a.breadcrumbs:visited}

    do-size: 8pt;

    color: #808080;

    }

    {a.breadcrumbs:Focus}

    do-size: 8pt;

    color: #808080;

    }

    {a.breadcrumbs:hover}

    do-size: 8pt;

    }

    {a.breadcrumbs: active}

    do-size: 8pt;

    color: #808080;

    }

    Question: To generate the file CHM, bread is present and functional, which makes me think that the Master Page is administered correctly. However, none of the style settings that I've specified for breadcrumbs applied. Instead, bread adopts the same style as the 'normal' style, as to suggest that the breadcrumb in the default.css style definitions are ignored. Note that if I - change manually other styles within the default.css, such as 'p' style, the changes are reflected in the output - that is, I am convinced that I am tweaking the correct css file. .. .then why don't my breadcrumbs adopts the style (s), I've specified?

    Thank you very much, people. With your suggestions, I managed to solve this problem.

    Here's what I did:

    (be thorough for the love of someone falling)

    1. Make a backup of the default.css.
    2. Default.CSS open in an external text editor.
    3. Clear definitions of style to it.

    Then, in RoboHelp;

    1. Open the Master Page and delete the placeholder crumbs of in in.
    2. With the Master Page always opens, add a new placeholder in the bread crumbs, ensure that the check box Use theme Style is checked. Ignore all other parameters.
    3. Click the placeholder of breadcrumbs, so it is selected. Then search for "bread crumbs" style in the pod Style and formatting, right-click and select Edit. Set the style for your bread crumbs. I don't know if this step was required.
    4. Switch (Master Page) HTML view and manually change the navigation bar style definition (I needed to change the font type and size for my project). I don't know if this step was no longer needed.
    5. In the nacelle Assembly project , locate and then right-click the Page Master in question, and then select Properties.
    6. In the Properties window, select the appearance tab, and then make sure the default.css is the style sheet selected.
    7. Open the pod of the list of subjects , select all topics, right-click in the list and click Properties.
    8. In the Properties window, select the appearance tab and make sure that no is selected. Click apply. It may take awhile for HR apply this setting to all of your subjects. This ensures that none of the subjects are directly influenced by a style sheet.
    9. In the Properties window, select the general tab and verify that the Master Page drop-down list displays the master page, you changed earlier. Click apply. It may take awhile for HR apply this setting to all of your subjects. Makes sure that each topic is based on the Master Page, and that's why, by proxy, a style sheet that is associated with the Master Page.
    10. In the Properties window, select the appearance tab again. Note that the selected stylesheet now reads default.css*, despite having just precise we wanted without selected style sheet. The * here indicates that the default.css style is applied, but indirectly, through the Master Page, we applied to all subjects.
    11. Click OK in the Properties window for the topic. Again, this can take a while for HR to apply it to all your subjects. Note that because I deleted all my default.css style definitions, each poster now topic in my project (and the Master Page itself), the default styling HR i.e. There will be no other style definitions to work with - it is read an empty style guide.

      Now to build the styles...
    12. Default.CSS open in an external text editor.
    13. Open the default.css backup that you did at the beginning.
    14. Copy the backup to the default.css each style that you want to use in your project. I copied all the models I wanted to use and ignore all others (styles I was not using in this project). You copy styles, save the default.css, tap back to the HR and you should see your saved style definitions added to the Style and formatting pod.

    Then I had to do some manual tweaking of bread style definitions in the default.css, using the text editor. For my needs, my bread crumbs works according to these definitions:

    {a.breadcrumbs:Link}

    do-size: 8pt;

    color: #808080;

    }

    {a.breadcrumbs:visited}

    do-size: 8pt;

    color: #808080;

    }

    {a.breadcrumbs:Focus}

    do-size: 8pt;

    color: #808080;

    }

    {a.breadcrumbs:hover}

    do-size: 8pt;

    }

    {a.breadcrumbs: active}

    do-size: 8pt;

    color: #808080;

    }

    {p.breadcrumbs}

    do-size: 8pt;

    }

    Thank you once again, people.

  • Apply an object style to the group without changing the object style of page within the group elements?

    Does anyone know a way to apply an object style to a group without changing the style of the subject of the articles within the Group?

    Well, as far as I know, there no way to do it. Apply an object style to a group applies this style to all elements within the group as well. So, I resorted to writing a script for this.

    It is not possible to change the appearance of the borders of the selection list in IE7.

    To the borders of all the elements of the selection list style on a page in other browsers, include the following style sheet in the HTML Header page:

    .formlayout select {
      border: 1px solid #E5E4E2;
    }

    APEX 3.2 is no longer supported, and IE7 is obsolete. Upgrade to the current version is recommended.
