How come my Firefox back to the previous version?

Signed for Firefox 4 on my office @ work but my web timesheets based provider cannot me access with a browser "beta", so I need to go back to Firefox 3 (version the most recent non-beta).

You can get the current version (3.6.13) since http://www.mozilla.com/

You can trash the installation of Firefox 4 beta, and then install the version 3.6.13. When trash the beta version, it does not remove your user profile, which includes personal data such as bookmarks, passwords and cookies.
