  Looks like you're wanting to reformat the hard drive on your MacBook to delete the Bootcamp partition. The following Knowledge Base article offers up how to do this:

The OS X Installer is designed to allow you to perform an installation in place during the same version or earlier versions of Mac OS X.   Additional options

  If you want to reinstall the version of Mac OS X included with your Mac, or if you have to reformat your entire startup disk, press Command + Option + R to start instead. This starts your Mac recovery of the Internet.

  If you have more than one partition (like Boot Camp) and you want to delete the complete startup disk, you can use disk utility to remove the partitions or re-partition your hard drive. Start up your Mac in recovering from Internet, then use utility to repartition your boot disk drive until delete you it. Make sure that you back up important data from all partitions before repartitioning of a disc.

You could try to increase the value of 2 or 3 and see if it works on the second or third time. If you still see the screen "This is awkward" after a crash, Firefox still does not make a failback.

  You can also check if there is a file user.js in your profile folder. A user.js file is a file of optional parameters that Firefox reads at startup and uses to override the settings saved in your previous session.
