How do huge institutional web sites?

How are these really big web sites done, like those of CNN, Microsoft, Apple, etc.. How many people does have? They have teams? People who specialize in PHP, JavaScript charts or Photoshopping? Is a big part of the outsourced work? (I am in the USA). I was wondering.

One of my contracts is with a large multinational company (no names, but it is a well known name), and I am one of many around the world.

This company more employs very few permanent employees for their web sites (relatively) and tend to go with the freelancers they know and have worked with before and some agency in each country.

Most specialize in 2-3 areas and is familiar with most of the others. If you plan to find a job in this field then he must know about the company specializes in (if it's an editor, then in what they publish, or manufacturer then they manufacture), your level of expertise on the subject should be much better than someone who is simply interested, this is true for your web design and development fields as well.     Press the button create.

    For pictures, go to insert > Image. Select an image and save it in the folder of your local site.

    It is a list of the last ten pages you have set bookmark. It is not a real file, so all the bookmarks that you remove are deleted. You can create (or delete and recreate) a few additional bookmarks and the old entries will be pushed out of this list.
