How do I change the sensitivity mouse and keyboard of laptop Lenovo?

How can I make my laptop Lenovo with Windows 7 require more pressure (or deliberation?) for the keyboard and mouse so I don't have inadvertenly making unexpected orders?

Hello

Follow these steps and check if that helps:

(a) click on 'Start' (or the Windows logo key) and select 'control panel '. Select 'Classic view' in Vista, if it is not already displayed. Double-click "mouse".

(b) access the "mouse properties" in Vista and Windows 7 by clicking on the Windows logo and typing 'Mouse' in the search box. Press enter, and then click 'Mouse', once the search is complete.

(c) click on the tab "Hardware" select the touchpad and click 'properties '. If the parameters are not displayed, click on "change settings". In Windows 7, click "Device settings" and select the touchpad. Click on "settings".

(d) change a setting on the touchpad of your Lenovo laptop by pressing the sign '+' next to the option you want to change. Click "OK" when finished to save and apply the changes.

  • How can I change the sensitivity of the touchpad on my laptop Windows 8 Samsung series 3?

I can't find a setting that allows me to adjust the touchpad sensitivity.  I can pinch to zoom in with ease, but I can't two fingers scrolling unless I dig my nails into the protector with strength.  And, even then, it works sometimes.

Settings-> Imput gives me only option to turn the touchpad on or off.

Control Panel-> hardware and sound-> Synaptics TouchPad V7.5 gives me options to set the speed and to turn on or off certain functions of drag.
Control Panel-> currencies and printers-> mouse gives me left - and right handed options, double-click speed options, pointer options, wheel (which does not have this computer) options, etc.
Where else is there to look at?  Help!  Thank you!  :)

I'm not impressed with the volume knob on my new Satellite U300.
Much preferred the version of the 'real' material on my old A100 - the U300 suffers from "lag" and is also requires a lot of the composition to make changes.

Is there a way I can adjust the sensitivity?

This is not possible dude, you cannot change the sensitivity of the volume control.

But to be honest I n t agree with you!
I like the new generation of the volume control. I ve such control in the A210 volume and it s nice.

A few months ago, I gave a comuter the person who owned it died. The window indicates Micrsoft Window XP Professional-HP. My problem is that I do not have access on behalf of users and password. What should I do?

    Hello

Many on this forum suggests that when you "inherit" a PC, you should do a clean install of Windows to delete the unwanted "baggage" that the previous owner has left behind. For example (but not limited to) viruses and criminal and illegal downloads. Such a procedure will reset all the passwords anyway. The PC may have a factory reset mechanism still intact. Visit the manufacturer website for more information, or we do know the number of brand, range and model of your PC for assistance.

If you are using XP Home Edition, the built-in Administrator account probably doesn't have a defined password. You can start in safe mode, where this account will be selectable when connecting. It allows to connect and change the password of any other connection.

To start in safe mode, keep hitting F8 twice a second after turning on the PC until you get the start menu where safe mode is selectable by the up/down arrow keys, and then press ENTER.

If you are using XP Professional, try to connect using the built-in Administrator account. You don't need to do it in safe mode (although you can if you wish). If your normal login screen is a display of the user symbol and hit ctrl-alt-del twice to get to login to text entry. Type administrator as the user name and try a blank password.

  • How can I change the network settings and air play setting up the itunes which is running on my laptop (windows 10)

A few weeks ago, I was streaming of photos to my TV using my apple TV. Now, whenever I try to play music in my laptop itunes I get the error message "the airplay APPLETV device is not available," he goes on to say "Please check your airtime... configuration and network settings. "I searched for days for these parameters.

Now the itunes on my laptop has no audio data.

The only way I can hear the track I'm playing, is to select the option at the foot of the error message that says "use this computer for now" - this gets quite annoying after awhile!

    any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Hello [email protected],

I understand that you encounter some problems with the sound settings on your PC after using a home since iTunes for Windows sharing.   The resources below has some basic for home sharing troubleshooting. Specifically, I would say the software updates, cycling the power to the modem/router and check the sound settings in Control Panel to do the internal speakers are of course selected.

    Where is the control panel?

    Take care.

  • How can I change the owner when you give a laptop to a family member?

I give my laptop running Windows 8 to a member of the family, so need to change the property to them.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best way to do this in Windows 8 is to do a "Reset PC" which restores the computer to the new brand terms, just as it came from the factory.  After that, it will be display "enter the name of the owner" basically ready for the 'first use' by the new owner.

See this link for more on this topic and how to do - it is only 3 clicks :)

  • How can I change the video memory on a Fujitsu laptop?

Hello! I am a Fujitsu AH531 laptop user, and I'm trying to change the video memory settings in use. I have access to the BIOS, which is a Phoenix Tiano, and advanced settings to change my memory Intel HD Graphics 3000 64 MB to 128 MB could not be found. Any advice?

Intel HD3000 graphics memory is allocated dynamically. I understand that there is no real dedicated VRAM. The mfg of the portable allocates a base amount of system RAM in common with the graphical part of the processor. In your case it's 64MB, but for some, it's as little as 32 MB and other 128MB, but the end result is much the same as more system RAM is allocated according to the needs.
If there is a way to change the RAM RB you better ask on the forums of Fujitsu.

Apparently, some people use 'batch' files to help with game performance, this is something that you may want to search each game uses a different file.

  • Whenever I reboot, the "Microsoft mouse and keyboard Center" loses the setting "flip direction of scrolling.

I would like to add another computer to my list with this bug. I have even run chkdsk. I posted that I had this problem with a Samsung Ativ see Chapter 7, tab 5. I would now like to add to this list a pole of the Surface Pro 2. Although, oddly enough, I don't have this problem for a long time, and it was overall very rare until I took my first SP2 and exchanged for another. The frequency of problems have increased with the second Service Pack 2. I don't see this as being a useful diagnosis, just an anecdote.

Remember, chkdsk used to dismiss the problems of file system that can cause the pilot and problems of parameters.  That it will not solve a driver problem unless a file system error is the cause.  Completely uninstall, reboot, and reinstall the software and drivers, followed by an another restart can help.

You have activated sync settings? If so, turn it off and remove the settings all synchronized on all synchronized computers.  Reboot, login, change the settings to tilt scrolling, confirm that scrolling is reversed and then reboot again.  Then you can return again to sync on all PC settings, you use it with Windows 8.1.  Does make a difference in your situation?
