How can I change the video memory on a Fujitsu laptop?

Hello! I am a Fujitsu AH531 laptop user, and I'm trying to change the video memory settings in use. I have access to the BIOS, which is a Phoenix Tiano, and advanced settings to change my memory Intel HD Graphics 3000 64 MB to 128 MB could not be found. Any advice?

Intel HD3000 graphics memory is allocated dynamically. I understand that there is no real dedicated VRAM. The mfg of the portable allocates a base amount of system RAM in common with the graphical part of the processor. In your case it's 64MB, but for some, it's as little as 32 MB and other 128MB, but the end result is much the same as more system RAM is allocated according to the needs.
If there is a way to change the RAM RB you better ask on the forums of Fujitsu.

Apparently, some people use 'batch' files to help with game performance, this is something that you may want to search each game uses a different file.

  • How can I change the video display Mode when the monitor mode not supported?

While creating my new monitor, I changed the computer video display mode at 120 Hz by accident.  Now I see something on the monitor other than the words not taken in CHARGE the MODE.

My system is a new HP Pavilion p7-1423W running Windows 8.1 with Intel i5-2320 3 ghz

I tried the start mode by pressing ESC on power but do not help the startup options.  And the just F11 menu option makes the startup screen disapear and puts the monitor mode not supported.  Tapping F8 doen't work and tapping F12 just puts me in the bios menus that do not help.

How can I upgrade the video card integrated with a video mode that is supported when I can't see the screen?

I answer my own question because I found my solution, thanks to my grandson (freshman to Renselear Politech).

I shoot to buy a monitor that displays a refresh rate of 120, so I could put my rear view.

    Here is the solution.

My computer double exit DVI.  My grandson told me to connect my new monitor to the other output because the output does not get touched when I changed the original mode of production.  He has worked and is automatically selects the default monitors mode.  Then I've reconfigured the original output using the integrated display software. Solved!

I tried the bios theres nothing in there that will change, I have the latest version of the bios of the machine V1.50

    Hello

As much as I know the of A40 Satellite Pro supports the Intel 852GME shared memory graphic card.
S control Intel cards automatically memory allocation.

This means that if the graphic card must more 16 MB of memory, the graphics driver will share the part of main memory!
The whole process runs automatically and you do not need to change anything!

  • HP 17-e049wm: How can I increase the video memory shared to the integrated graphics card?

I recently bought a HP 17-e049wm. This laptop has the AMD Radeon HD8650G integrated graphics with up to 4206 MB total memory. I understand that this graphics 'card' using embedded memory as video memory. How can I increase or decrease the amount of memory allocated for graphics? I don't seem to be able to make changes from the BIOS. Is this something that adjusts automatically?

    Hello:

Yes the PC controls the amount of system memory that is shared and there is no way for the user to control this feature.

  • How can I increase the video memory dedicated Satellite C660?

    Hello

I'm on a Toshiba Satellite C660 and I was wondering if it was possible to increase the minimum 64 MB dedicated video memory. I've got 1696 MB total available graphics memory and 8gbs of RAM.
I have had a look in the BIOS settings but couldn't find something useful.

    Thanks in advance guys.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. There is not an option where you can change it manually. It works automatically.

With more RAM, more memory will be used for graphical operations.

  • Satellite L20: How can I reduce the video memory?

I bought a L20 today with 256 MB of memory, video is set at 128 MB, can someone tell me how I can reduce this, I tried in the bios but the only option is 128 MB, the laptop is quite slow. I'll have more memory when I can, but for now if I can fix this it should help a little.

    Thank you
    Simon

    Hello

What the name of your laptop - Satellite L20 - xxx?
And what graphics card did you use? Intel or ATI?

But I do not understand why you want to decrease the memory.
If the graphics card memory so it will take the main memory.
But if the graphics card does not need additional memory so it will not share.
It all depends on the applications that are running on the operating system.

  • Can I change the video memory settings?

I have a Compaq Presario SR5333WM desktop PC there MCP61PM-HM (Iris8) integrated graphics using nVidia GeForce 6150SE. I have 2 gig of PC2-6400 (800 MHz) and I am running Vista Home Premium.

Now the BIOS is using 64 MB of ram right now. Is there a way to expand this to the 256 MB as the motherboard specifications say that I can?  I'll post the link card motherboard at the end of this. The main reason I bought this system has been to the video of 256, but I was never able to get the value. I would be very happy if this is possible, otherwise I'm looking to buy another system that I don't really have the funds to get it. So I crossed my fingers, thank you for the help. If you need any other information on this system please let me know.

The only changes that can be made to onboard video changes the amount of shared memory it will use.

It is only if the motherboard BIOS has parameters that will allow these changes.

For an amateur who built his own PC, almost every motherboard BIOS will give this option. The BIOS of a pre-built HP desktop PC system is custom code and does not allow the user to change the use of on-board video shared memory.

Then... the answer to your question is no.

The only video upgrade for the games, you can do this is by installing a PCI Express x 16 video card.

  • Can I change the video memory on my Satellite C855?

My daughter has a Toshiba Satellite C855 1pj him for Christmas, we bought and wants to run the Sims 3 island paradise, but when she checks on systemrequirementslab.com he tell her that she has 64 MB of dedicated video memory and the game needs a minimum of 128 MB, is it possible to change or otherwise the game will still run on the 64 MB

    Thank you

    Karen

    Hello

No, you cannot change this value manually. This is controlled by GPU driver.

First of all, I must say that this laptop Satellite C855-1pj isn t gaming notebook because its supports a graph of Intel HD internal common chip. Playbook should be equipped with an ATI or nVidia GPU external.

However, the computer laptop specifications page http://www.toshiba.co.uk/discontinued-products/satellite-c855-1gp/ said that the Intel HD supports up to 1 696 MB shared memory with 4 GB of RAM

Eventually, you should be able to run the game, but with lower graphic settings.

  • How can I adjust the video memory to allow my daughter to use Fisher price crafts & Studio?

When I try to install the software for the craft Studio & digital Fisher price I get an error message that I don't have enough video memory and aborts the installation. It is said that it requires 64 MB minimum

You can not 'solve' video memory.  Either you have it or you don't have.

However, unless you have a very old or very basic computer, it seems doubtful that it is an exact error message.  I suggest you contact the Support of F - P.

I give my laptop running Windows 8 to a member of the family, so need to change the property to them.

The best way to do this in Windows 8 is to do a "Reset PC" which restores the computer to the new brand terms, just as it came from the factory.  After that, it will be display "enter the name of the owner" basically ready for the 'first use' by the new owner.

QuickTime is pretty useless for a broad category of video files. It's a waste of time having to specify which application I want to use to open a video file each time (I understand how to do this, but I try to avoid having to do each time.)

Right-click on the file, select read. To the bottom of the window that appears is the spectin open with. Select the drive you want to use, then check the box to make a default value for all files of this type. You will need to repeat this step for each file type.

  • How can I change the term of my video file?

How can I change the term of my video file?  Windows DVD Maker is playing my video file listed as 26:18:32 only 26 hours instead of 26 minutes 18 seconds and 32 milliseconds.

    Hi MacChang,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community. It seems that you have a problem with the length of a video file playing on Windows DVD maker. This can be very frustrating for you, and I appreciate the efforts you have put in. Let us work together as a team to get this number fixed.

We start with a few questions-

    (1) is specific to a particular video file?

    (2) have you made changes on the computer?

I would like more information about the issue.

    Method 1-

I wish that you disconnect any external devices to the computer. In addition, I would have you close all programs running in the background.

    Method 2-

I recommend you perform the clean boot.

Placing the computer in a boot minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must perform the steps in the article-

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: You must follow the step 3 of the article to return the computer to a Normal startup after you perform all the troubleshooting steps.
