  So, the problem seems to be that attachments are stored as files read-only by Thunderbird and an application it can open without editing privileges, so you cannot change the.   We have users who use CD player and none of them are able to save regular editable PDF files, PDF files read-only. The only options that appear for the option Save as others are "text' and 'word or excel." In older versions, there is a PDF option here that allow them to record read-only. When you go to save as and recording it in pdf format, it is always editable. There is no other option to save it as Save a Copy as I've seen in other articles.   Sign the PDF file use the certificate in Acrobat Reader ms (you'll find it under the Tools tab), to create a digital signature & sign the PDF.

  It will secure your PDF & restrict any changes.

  I have created a form using Livecycle ES2 and have a Q.

  I have a Yes and no box that, once Yes is clicked does another check box and the date field read-only. When I click No., they are open for data entry. It works fine, but I found when I click on Yes and then press tab, it always stops on the deposits of only reading.

  Logic and well... very well anything else I did know the fields.

  Is there a way to blow up the field if it is read-only? I guess it would be in the sense of when the field is entered and is read-only, it will automatically go to the next tab stop.

  Any suggestions?

When I choose the column (which is a selection list) of a certain value, I want column B to be read-only (depending on the result of an another SQL described below). It doesn't seem to be a READ ONLY section in the type of tabular report where I could put my SQL condition.
  
  In other words, "column B" must be read only based on SQL returning following true or Exists:
  Thus, to determine if column B is ready only, I need the following logic:

  If the menu is outside the region, you must pass a parameter in the area and read this parameter passed within the region. You cannot directly access the bean of expanded view of inside the workflow.

  That uses a router within a workflow to decide which page to display based on the parameter. Using this solution you can easily implement your use case using two different pages to show the table, a read-only, and the other to change.

  It is quite simple and can be made much simpler if give you all the names of optional field of a common prefix using a hierarchical naming scheme. For example, if you use a prefix of 'optional' so that you have domain names like "optional.name", "optional.address", "optional.email", etc. (note that the period character is critical here), you can set fields in the group to read-only with a single statement. Similarly, you can set the background color or reset the group, which is a good idea when the fields turn off/on. For example:

  I work on an inventory for a renovation of the building to come and hope to make an "interactive stop' of sorts on the PDF of the floorplan showing the hardware inventory for the rooms.

  My goal is that each room on the floor plan to have an invisible field that covers (I am currently using text fields), so that when the user's mouse is in this room on the floor plan, a 'Mouse enter' action is executed to display a second text box VISIBLE read-only containing notes and inventory relevant in this specific room. Conversely, when the user's mouse leaves this place on the floor plan, a 'Mouse exit' action is executed to hide this second text box.

  I have this feature works for the most part, with the exception that the text fields that I use to describe the rooms are still visible in an opaque blue tint when the PDF file is displayed. I would have preferred them to be completely invisible and cannot be changed by users.

  If I change the property of form field to 'Hidden', or tick the box 'Read only' property, entry and exit mouse mouse actions will not run.

  Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to achieve this?

  Instead of a text field, use a button for mouse input/output actions. They can be parameters to have no visible border or background, so will be invisible.

  How can I use the same form of adf for loan only for user b. In other words is it possible to use a form for updated by one user, but if the user b use the engine to its read-only, instead of creating two forms.

  "ADF read-only Table" to list 5 records and 5 columns of data.
  
  Records are displayed. BUT, off 5 Columns - a column cdate Date. and I want the USER to be able to update the Date column (don't forget that it's READ only table).
  
  Issues related to the:
  
  1 > 11 g what are the steps to convert this column to Date only in the form of input text so that the user can update the date
  
  2 > ADF this SINGLE table DROP reading does NOT come with button submit automatically. Since then, if I am able to convert / and LET the user be able to change the DATE, THEN I should be able to PRESENT this table alone RERAD to update the DATE in the database. HOW can I optimize button "SUBMIT" for this TABLE READ ONLY gets presented WITH the new date. ??

  Interesting... Check to see if it appears in another section of the property inspector. Otherwise, you can add links support bean 'manually' as follows:

  (1) in the jspx page add a binding property to the tag af:inputText. Example:

  backing_HrMain is in this case your backing bean and myINputText is the RichInputText variable in your backing bean

  (2) in your bean support add the RichInputText variable myINputText and getter/setter for it. Example:
