  There is no API that provides this information.  You can get the number of incoming callers, but not the name of caller ID.

  My computer crashed, but I saved my TB profile. When I copied all my e-mail in the new profile files, they are all showed in the older profile a total has shown next to each folder. In the new profile I do not see how many emails are in each folder unless I do a right-click and select Properties. How can I get the column showing the totals for each folder?

  In this case, I would say that you have an incompatible add-on. Maybe even the old folder columns add-on that used to power this feature.

  Menu (alt + T) tools > Add-ons and disable everything that looks like it can interact with the files pane.

  There is a Thunderbird Add-on called 'ColumnsWizard' which will allow you to do. Thunderbird menu: tools: Add - ons. Type (or paste) ColumnsWizard in the search bar.

  If anyone is wondering how I ended up with the random line, I was an important cleaning of saved links. Deleted some and renamed, shortened by many other names to addresses. Now, they are hard to find, if not in alphabetical order.

  Check the name under view just makes contacts show the first name and family name. If you want to sort by name, click on the heading titled NAME.
  By clicking on a heading of column sorts on this column. Clicking the same header again reverses the sort.

  Press 'Edit' at the top right of the list. Press and hold on the stack of the horizontal lines to the right of recall. Drag it to the order you want.

  The reminders app is a very basic application, mainly to remember things by an alert. If you want something more feature-rich, there are probably thousands of task management applications in the App Store. I'm sure that one of them meets your needs.
