  Really, it depends on the type of settings that your ISP would put on the new modem. If the configuration of the new modem would be the same with the old, so there is no need for you to make any changes on the router. Simply connect the new modem, perform a powercycle by unplugging the power cord from the modem and router and it should work.   There is not much to be done in any real particular order really.  It won't hurt to have the disc in the drive the first time that you start with the new player connected, but even if are not the worst case, you get a "no OS on this disc, press ctrl + Alt + Del to restart".

  When start you, you may need to press a special sequence on the keyboard like F2 or DEL or Escape to boot from the CD. He can say so on the screen, or it can just try first default (likely) CD.

  In any case, once you start from the CD, it is a wizard from there. Simply press 'next' and 'agree' and all that jazz to what Windows 8 is installed back. Then search for updates & restart for the next 4 days :)

  Which event viewer had to say, particularly the Applications and System tab? Clues? If the program crashes, or suspended, there should be a track. You should see the right messages, when it launches, and then some kind of a warning or error message.

  Otherwise, I'm out of ideas. Many have had no problem in running CS3.0.2 on Vista-32. I remember no launch of SOUL with CS3, but my memory problems, it's not what it was once. SOUL just opened and worked for almost everyone.

  One last question: would it be possible that SOUL launch, but its window is being obscured in some way? Have you been double monitors unique? PrPro, you can reset your window > workspace to one of the default values?

  Man, I scrape "the bottom of the barrel" here, but trying to think of what could be wrong.
