The ESxi Server console is on screen 'Marketing Management Service', we can get into the ESXi console.

So how do restart the serivce to the ESXi remote management?

    I have a relatively new Apple TV (4th Gen) and tonight after a few weeks of work perfectly, the remote control slide to the right and in other directions only intermittently. I read up before you call Apple and it seems to me that it is a new issue. Here my question is it possible to restart the remote where the little glitches occur. A poster suggested battery, it looks like there must be a pressure button to reset the remote control, if you know of one, please post. I'll try next, logout and re-pairing to see what is happening, and then from there head to the store tomorrow.

    Any ideas appreciated.

    So I solved the problem by restarting the Apple TV itself, and now the remote works again. Also amazing that my iPhone was working very well as a remote control before the reboot, so don't know why this Apple TV restarting fixed but there.

    Marvin note is correct, usually when DCRServer shows such State, the files may be damaged are:

    /opt/CSCOpx/MDC/Tomcat/lib/ctm_config.txt

    /opt/CSCOpx/MDC/Tomcat/shared/lib/ctm_config.txt

    /opt/CSCOpx/MDC/tomcat/webapps/CWHP/Web-INF/lib/ctm_config.txt

    If you have time, download the 3 files to check and verify that they are not damaged.

    Also, make sure that the host name has not been changed, LMS should be grateful, therefore, you can run the following script:

    / opt/CSCOpx/bin/perl /opt/CSCOpx/bin/resolver.pl

    and

    / opt/CSCOpx/bin/perl /opt/CSCOpx/bin/resolver.pl

    Run the MMC console as administrator

    Navigate to the file in the menu bar and select Add/Remove snap

    Scroll down and select "Print management", and then click Add

    Click on 'Add the Local Server', then OK

    Scroll down the name of your computer, and then select the drivers tree

    Right click on the driver you want to remove, and then select "Remove driver Package"

    Restart, and then try to add the printer again

    I've already updated my server vcentre for the new device vcentre I have running on one of the servers very well.

    I have the new vsphere 5.5 client installed and works very well also.

    My question is this:

    If I stop the ESXi server who runs currently vcentre unit how can I vcentre restarted again when I go back to the server?

    Is there a way to do this because I don't want to be more than the time needed for maintenance I have to do on the server.

    I fear that I will get looked out and not be able to get the device vcentre began as there would be no way to do it.

    The vCenter Server Appliance can be cast on the ESXi host and any other virtual computer. Just use the vSphere Client to connect to the host on which the VCSA is registered and start it. Just make sure that you have both versions of vSphere Client installed on your system, one for the ESXi 4.x hosts and the other corresponding to your version of vCenter Server.

    First of all know what version of Windows 7 is running on the computer you want to access remote/control. Go to the Start button and type winver in the search window. Windows will report to the version in a pop-up window on your desktop.

    Assuming that the computer is running Windows 7 Ultimate or Pro...

    The main steps are...

    • Activate [DRC] Remote Desktop on Windows 7 Ultimate DRC PC host.
    • If the login ID DRC on the Windows 7 Ultimate DRC host PC is not an administrator, and then add the user to the remote desktop users group. Don't forget the DRC connection user ID are local on the host Windows 7 Ultimate DRC PC not the DRC PC client.
    • Make sure that there is an exception in the Windows Firewall, or any third-party firewall on the Windows 7 Ultimate DRC host PC.
    • If the host Windows 7 Ultimate DRC PC is behind a router make sure that TCP Port 3389 is transferred to the LAN IP (static is preferable) of Windows 7 Ultimate DRC host PC.
