  Reposting this here, did not know that this forum existed.
  
  For debugging purposes, I would like to see the NLS_PARAMETERS to other active sessions. It is on the basis of data Oracle 10 g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64 bit.
  
  No of here's what I'm looking for:
  

  SQL> select * from v$nls_parameters; 
  -- Will only show me the settings of my own session.
  
  SQL> select * from nls_database_parameters;
  -- Lists permanent NLS parameters of the database

  Indeed, this information is not readily available. NLS environment is stored in a variable UGA and other sessions do not have access to it. Qualified Oracle engineers would be able to get this information from a dump of the UGA, but otherwise, it is not recoverable.

  I still do not see a way to connect ALTER SESSION through a trigger (as it isn't a DDL).

  Make sure your WebLogic Portal Server is running. I don't think it matters what StartPointbaseConsole script you run, but copy the database from your config.xml file connection properties in the connection screen. Log in with the id/pw "weblogic. Then, open the schema of weblogic in the object tree. You should see the table that there are listed. You can right click on the table and choose "select *" option in the context menu.

  I'm totally new to OBIEE 11 g. I worked in OBIEE 10 g, but I am facing problem in 11g.
  
  Description of the problem: I created a report using the analysis. I saved and attached to a dashboard. I wanted to add another column in the existing report. TO do this, I modified the report and saved as well. Report is in a table view. But the problem here is that the newly added column is not displaying in the dashboard report.
  
  SO please let me know is there any scheme or any other configuration is required for the good report.

  If you work with 11.1.1.5, it's a bug (it is fixed at 11.1.16). If you add a column after viewing once the results, this column will be added to the secion excluded a view. Go to the edit view and then move the column to the included secion.

  You can go to the bookmark (library) Manager and open the folder all bookmarks and type only a common character like a '. 'or a':' in the search box.

  There is one thing that I know that you need to check that COULD be your problem.  Open Control Panel (in Classic view) and click Folder Options (or, in Control Panel, click on appearance and personalization and then Folder Options).

  Open the view tab and make sure that "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is NOT checked.

  It would be good to hear from you as to whether that was the problem!
