  Currently, there is no way to save your new image instead of the original image. For now, you need to manually delete the original. It is however a great request!   First of all, you select trim the menu bar.  The culture box is now show and you move and adjust it to the area you wish to display (after harvest)

  Reselect harvest the new Menu bar.  Only the acreage is now displayed in the windows.

  Select the close file to save.

  With paint, select "select" in the menu bar.

  Use your mouse to select to display after the harvest.

  Select crop menu bar.

  The spectacle of the area cropped in the window.

  Select the blue small arrow pointing down in the upper left corner.

  Select Save as.

  Please follow the instructions below.

  • In the Finder, go to your package of iPhoto file. By default, it is located in /Users/[username]/ pictures and it is called iPhoto library.

  • Control-click the iPhoto library file and choose show package content.

    A Finder window will open that displays the contents of the package file. The Masters folder contains all the pictures that are in iPhoto. However, Photoshop cannot access this folder.

  • Control-click on the folder named Masters and choose duplicate.

  • Do drag the folder named "copy of masters' of the Finder of your desktop iPhoto library window. Now you can open the workstation images in Photoshop.

  I wouldn't make any estimates of time engineering without any basis.  I make no claim of expertise, because they invariably sound pompous and it is an anonymous forum, and no one can prove anything, then what good?  But since you bring it twice: Yes, I have 20 years of professional programming experience-oriented customers, image processing and editing software (among several other kinds) Windows, Mac, and Unix.

  Even that does not mean I know the code base of Adobe (who, in an old product like Photoshop, is almost certainly a mess).  My conclusion from the ease of "Paste as new image" is based on the fact that Photoshop is already preparing a picture of correct size based on the contents of the Clipboard when you say 'New image'.  If you press return to this dialog box, you will get a new image containing the contents of the Clipboard.  And that's what should happen with "Paste as new image".  The necessary code is already there; You can see it in action.

  As I said, this isn't a weird feature aimed at a minority.  This is a standard feature in other graphics editing and even audio editing applications.

  If they won't do it, then they are not.  But the representation of each request also somehow absurd does not hold water.

  You cannot import this file camera RAW directly. 5.x.x LR does not support this camera and never will be.

  You will need to use the latest version of the free Adobe DNG converter program to convert these ARW files into DNG files.

  Or upgrade to LR 6 or the CC version with a subscription to the plan of photographers.
