  I'm not an apple person.  I read on a few different forums that apple has changed what is called 'writing' in a recent update to apple.  You may need to find an Apple expert to show you how to make sure you are allowed to write to files or locations on your computer.

  I currently 5.7 autonomous LR. I recently bought two new cameras Sony - a Sony A6000 & a Sony RX100 IV. Looking at the list of supported camera that looks like the a6000 needs min. Camera Raw 8.4 and min. 5.4 Lightroom. The Sony RX100 IV must min. Camera Raw 9.1.1 and 6.1.1 Lightroom min. Does this mean I should switch to Lightroom 6 or the creative cloud to use Raw in LR with the IV RX100?

  Yes, for Sony RX100 IV, you should either update of Lightroom 6 or you can download Adobe DNG converter to convert raw to DNG files and access then in Lightroom.

  After installation, a new component of Flip4Mac will appear in system preferences.  Make sure that you set the boxes to make sure that it will play WMV files in Quicktime format.

  VLC - not really a converter but will do a bit on the menu export.  Can be slow to be converted and there will be a learning curve.

  Explore online converters when you download a file in a format and download in another.

  I do not know if your computer can run Audion 3 I think I used to use it to convert WMA.

  Windows Mail is unable to import a .pst file if Outlook is installed on the Vista computer. You can install Outlook, copy the PST on the Vista computer, open the .pst with Outlook, then you can import into Windows Mail.
