  In previous versions, it wasn't like that.

  Sometimes there is a very little information or pixels in a layer. This is way hard to aim straight for photoshop to do what I want it to do.

  I don't know if it's done on purpose or it is a very annoying bug.

  Well, it is quit interesting: while we are working on this problem, I advised a new update for photoshop: some problems occurred with the last update.

  I was working with 20151114.r.301

  And now I have the 20151209.r.327 version (which comes in fact in a few minutes ago)

  I tried the same thing as above and now my problem with the sliding of the layers went!

  So it was a bug. Nothing to do with the settings or anything.

  Hey Rodney,

  (1) Please open the pdf you want to take the picture, go to Edition & select Take Snapshot. )

  (2) make drag & select the area of the pdf file, you need to take the snapshot using your mouse.

  

  (3) now paste the snapshot into the paint & save it.

  (4) open the second pdf file where you want to place the snapshot in pdf editing mode, now add the image of the snapshot using the option 'Add images' on the desired place.

  You are allowed to install Photoshop on two computers. Recent versions allow to choose if they are versions Mac or Windows, or one of each!

  Thanks to all who responded.  I think the problem was that I was using the NEF files and that he had not yet renamed PSD files.  Copy the layer in the destination document, but when I tried to move the layer in the destination document, I received the error message.  Apparently, he was copying the layer but there not then recognize the NEF format.  Once I saved both documents to the PSD, then the program behaved normally.  I appreciate your all of the help.

I just changed from one mac to the other. The Lightroom database was still on the external hard drive, I have just connected a new Mac now, but the preset metadata are empty when I connect from the new mac. When I connect from the old mac it are still there.

  The metadata presets folder is stored with all other templates and predefined settings to users / ~ / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom you can navigate your way there through the operating system or open the preferences of Lr Presets tab panel, then click on button labeled folder show Lightroom Presets...

  Double-click the text to open its properties, go to the tab Position , in the field of layer , select a new layer, then click OK.

  Hey there, I have therefore two documents of the same size (11 "x 8.5") and I am trying to copy a few layers of an original document and move it to the second. I do this by simply moving the layers from the original to the new document. The problem is, the text or the images are extremely smaller on the new document and if I skip them, look really pixelated. What I am doing wrong? The original document is stored in format PDF in Photoshop and I think has been done on CS4. I am currently using Photoshop CC 2014.

  Make sure that the resolution DPI/is the same for the new document, as in the original.  Files created with 11x8.5 at 72 dpi will appear smaller on 11x8.5 to 300 dpi for example documents.  You can also right click on the layer and select 'double layer', then when the dialog box open, select it name of the new document in the drop-down list is where to put the duplicated layer.  Whatever it is, the CIO of the two files must match.  Display the size of the image in the menu of the image can tell you the current resolution/DPI.  Hope that helps with your problem, some.  I don't know if the fact that the original is a PDF file is causing a problem.

  Disable one on an old computer...

  Open DW > help > Deactivate (in some versions, you need to open a new blank document to get the menu item to become clickable)

  You can then uninstall and reinstall/reactivate on another machine.

  How did you divide the video?  If you have done so in a project calendar you don't put the segments on an event.  You can, however, copy and paste into the schedules of other projects.
