delay button

Hello

I have a problem with this VI. I have a time delay when I press a key (business or home). There is a delay for appearing and disappearing items I want to see all time ttat I press a button. No idea how I can solve it? This delay occurs because the time that I set when I send orders?

Thank you

Hello

I would have created a group of data with the data of settings and opened a sub - vi where the user can make changes, such as a dialog box. Another way would be to use a transparent tab control and then just change the tab between 'Home' and 'settings '. I think that the delay is created by all nodes of your property and the updating of the front panel.

    I have a project in CP5 with buttons on a number of screens. When you click a button in the project, it takes just a few seconds before it goes to the next screen. There is that a slow fade once the button is clicked, but makes it appear as if the user must click on the button several times to make the action work macarons. I thought that maybe it's a problem of timing of slides and it was not moving forward because of a timing longer, but even when I change the timing in a matter of seconds, there is still a significant delay when the action button is engaged.

    Any ideas on how to make the button action happen immediately?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

    How you set up the action on the success of the button? Maybe you left it to the default value "Continues", if so change it to "Go to the next slide".

  • How to delay the release event buttons in flash

    Hello.

    I created a button in flash and the low chassis contained 2 second animation. the button works fine if I press and hold the Rez it shows the animations within that framework, but as soon as I release the button of the mouse (in the Center) the button jumps to the 1st frame. I need a way to disable the output of the mouse under low or delay action for 2 seconds.

    I hope that this logic I found it a little difficult to explain and seek.

    Thank you very much

    A.A

    To begin, create the button as a movieclip symbol so that you have the ability to target its scenario and control it.  The legacy of the logic for the button which does not allow him to change his State up until there finishes playing the animation... you can probably use the animation itself as the trigger to move to the North of the State in association with the postback event.

  • Client with JavaScript listener, surrounded by a button have a delay

    Hello.

    I have a fragment page (jsff) with a resulting keypad buttons surrounded by a client listener that calls a java script function; whenever I click on a number it refresh a text with the concatenated value input. I've implemented with JavaScript. Why with JavaScript? Because of the delay using partial triggers showing the value in the input text.

    When I test it on the server, it works fine. I click on each button and have a little late, but it works for the needs to develop.

    Now, when I insert this fragment inside an another jsff which include several elements, the result is not the same. I click every button and the value is displayed in the text of entry very fast, but the I clicked on the button takes between one and two seconds to recharge for summer clicked again. I don't understand what is happening.

    Could someone help me?

    Thank you very much.

    Probably you always spread the event on the server. You can easily check this with a browser like Firefox/Firebug plugin, sent to see if there is no request for the server.

    Normally, you will need to explicitly cancel the event to propagate to the server. For example, if you have a clientListener on a button, you do something like below:

    function showPopupFromAction(actionEvent)
    {
      actionEvent.cancel();
    //your logic here

    }

  • time delay on the slideshow by clicking on the buttons prev next

    I have a slide show with two blades. Each slide is licensed for 5-6 seconds before changing, but when I use the following buttons previous it work well. Somehow it keeps the original timer (autoslide) so when I select 'next', for example 1 second before the transition, and then to the next slide will stay for just a second. So, when I select then it doesn't reset the timer and retains the original timer instead.

    So I want to add a delay when selecting prev next time (or if you have other ideas will be appreciated).

    It's the JS:

    "use strict";

    Slovak var = 1;

    transition var = 1000;

    var slideLength = 2;

    var slideInter = 6000;

    $("li ul .slider: nth-child(" + currentSlide + ")" ") .fadeIn (transition);

    $(".next").click (function () {}

    nextSlide();

    });

    $(".prev").click (function () {}

    prevSlide();

    });

    function nextSlide() {}

    $("li ul .slider: nth-child(" + currentSlide + ")" ") .fadeOut (transition);

    Slovak ++;

    If (Slovak > slideLength) Slovak = 1;

    $("li ul .slider: nth-child(" + currentSlide + ")" ") .fadeIn (transition);

    }

    function prevSlide() {}

    $("li ul .slider: nth-child(" + currentSlide + ")" ") .fadeOut (transition);

    -Slovak;

    If (Slovak, Slovak) 1 = 2;

    $("li ul .slider: nth-child(" + currentSlide + ")" ") .fadeIn (transition);

    }

    var timer = setInterval (nextSlide, slideInter);

    $(".slider").hover (function () {}

    clearInterval (timer);

    }, function () {}

    Timer = setInterval (nextSlide, slideInter);

    });

    Let me know if you need additional information or if you don't understand something of what I said. Thank you in advance.

  • button animated with mouseover delay / mouseout/mouseouthandler() actions

    Hi all

    I have a symbol on the edge that fades into a button, then stops. I would like for the mouse over and mouse actions for this button to be disabled during the period and then active button fade once the button appeared entirely. Fundamentally, a problem occurs when a user hovers over the button when the symbol is initially the discoloration and it causes unwanted results. I would appreciate if anyone can offer some insight on how to delay actions until the playahead reaches a certain point in the timeline panel.

    Fine thanks

    DH333

    Replace the code in mouseout/mouseouthandler() with the following:

    {if (sym. GetPosition() > 420)

    sym.playReverse ();

    }

  • Next button circumvents the delay in photo album

    I am a novice with Flash Pro, but the challenge of creating a slide show to a Web site. I used Flash Pro CS5 and the model Advanced Photo Album. I have struggled for a while and searched around for more information before arriving finally to load images and work as coded.

    Everything went well and I published the. SWF and all images on the site root folder but when I click on the 'next' button it pops a picture. The delay is set to 5 seconds, but it would seem that the forward button circumvents the delay that is if I leave a picture for 3 seconds and then press the next button, the following image shows only 2 seconds ahead of siwtching to the next, despite the delay to 5. If I let it run automatically as all the pictures to follow the rule of the time. I have included the code below. The only thing I changed is the length of the transition from "fade" between 0.25 and 1.

    Note: I had to integrate the HTML code not the. SWF when integrating the. SWF on the site, he brought to the top of the flash element, but none of the images. Don't know if it is having an effect on coding.

    Many thanks for any help

  • Multiple choice quiz slides - long delay when you click on the radio button

    Using Captivate 5.5 and slides of quiz of multiple choices, when previewing the project, sometimes there is a delay after clicking on a choice. The delay is sometimes so long that the learner may feel like they are not able to select a radio button option. Does anyone know a way to speed up the appearance of the dot that appears when a learner clicks on a radio button?

    Hi Jay,.

    I would have asked to see the chronology. In a blog I explains the features of the glide of the Question and think that you can't find the answer here:

    Question Question slides

    Short answer: on the timeline, you'll see a suspension point, which is used twice for the slides in question (see the two-step process in blog). Default setting is to have only one break point at 1, 5secs for a default slide duration of 3secs. The actions on the success and after the last attempt (see properties Quiz, accordion Action) are both set to "continue". This means that after the second stage when you expect to proceed immediately to the next slide, the reading head is just to continue until the end of the slide (length by default = 1.5secs). Wondering if you perhaps make longer editing.

    What is possible: drag the point of suspension on the Timeline, close to the end of the chronology of the question slide. Or set the action to 'Go ├a next page' instead of continue.

    Not sure if it will help because I do not see the timeline.

  • Delay the action of the button URL.

    Created the button that activates the short animation what AND ALSO connects to the URL.

    I want the Viewer to see the full animation (26 frames that lasts about 1.5 seconds - 18 frames per second). Instead the button connects almost instantly to the URL, and the Viewer does not see the animation.

    Animation plays automatically (complete loop - 26 frames) what Viewer first opens swf/html. The same animation plays again when the viewer clicks the button to go to the URL.

    Is there a code in AS3 that can delay the connection to the URL before the 26 animation framework.

    I'm beginner/intermediate extreme novice and Flash Action Script (make the most of my research online coding ACE). Need to be led by my hand in Action Script.

    Here's my action script 3.0 and my animation (link to URL)

    teach_btn is the button.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------

    It is a code that loads and plays up the animation when you open the file swf/html - code is on frames 1-25

    Stop();

    gotoAndPlay (1);

    function startMovie(event:MouseEvent):void

    {

    this.play ();

    }

    teach_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, startMovie);

    It's code that connects the user to the URL - this code is only on the keyframe 26

    Stop();

    teach_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.Click, MouseClick);

    function mouseClick(event:MouseEvent):void

    {

    var request = new URLRequest ("http://www.webpage.com/")

    navigateToURL (request, "_blank");

    }

    Thank you

    the fastest way (but not the best) to help you do this:

    It is a code that loads and plays up the animation when you open the file swf/html - code is on frames 1-25

    Stop();

    gotoAndPlay (1);

    function clickF(event:MouseEvent):void

    {

    {if (MovieClip (root) .played)}

      var request = new URLRequest("http://www.webpage.com/")  navigateToURL(request,"_blank");

    } else {}

    MovieClip (root) .clicked = true;

    }

    }

    teach_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, clickF);

    It's code that connects the user to the URL - this code is only on the keyframe 26

    Stop();

    navToF();

    function navToF (): void

    {

    {if (MovieClip (root). Clicked)}

    var request = new URLRequest ("http://www.webpage.com/")

    navigateToURL (request, "_blank");

    } else {}

    MovieClip (root) .played = true;

    }

    }

  • Two actions to one button - delaying the second action

    Hi all

    I have a menu on my site - this menu does two things when you click each button - they charge two separate sovereign wealth funds in video clips already on the scene.

    I want to do is delay one of the actions of a few seconds so that the file always starts loading before the other (one is a background, it is a foreground)

    any suggestions?

    my site: www.ponch.biz/portfolio (still much to do in detail but comments on what is happening here are welcome)

    Thank you very much

    David,

    Thank you very much, who did it!

  • time delay a button apears

    Hello when a page I want to delay the appearance of the button so that users to stop to see the animation, I put here but just help file tells me how to create classes when I'm not there must be a few lines of code to do?
    someone can tell me what is the problem here, because when I do the alpha of the 0 button, the whole page becomes 0 alpha and there is no nothing or give any errors

    continue1_btn, alpha = 0;

    var: timer = new Timer (50);
    Timer.Start ();
    timer.addEventListener ("timer", puzTrash);

    function puzTrash(evt:Event):void {}
    If (alpha > 100) {}
    Alpha = 100;
    evt. Target.Stop ();
    init();
    }
    }

    It takes a full stop after continue_btn on the first line, not a comma.

  • Satellite P850/05F - button Mute a delay of 1-2 sec

    Hi guys,.

    I come to me a laptop Toshiba Satellite P850/05F recently, everything is perfect and I love her not to mention that of one small problem which is quite annoying. If I press the "Mute" button that is "F11"key, the mute symbol comes up, but it takes about 2 seconds so he can actually mute. " If it is not instantaneous.

    I googled around and doesn't seem like everyone has the same problem or has a solution. I already reformatted and reinstalled WIndows back to the default values and also reinstalled the drivers, but the problem is still there.

    I was wondering if this is common and if there is something I could do to fix this? It's driving me crazy.

    Contact your dealer as soon as possible, to explain the situation and I hope that you will get the other machine.
    Good luck.
