  I want to export an hour long video clips (AVI).

  I think that is has something to do with defining a "workspace" and using "export."  However, I don't know how to set a work area and even with a set of work area, export does not.

  If your question goes to the selective export of the content of the timeline, then this is your answer. It has two essential components.

  First Important... you set the gray tabs on the work area bar to expand on the segment of the timeline that you plan to export.

  To set the gray tabs... Move the timeline indicator to the beginning of the segment. Hold down the ALT of the computer

  main keyboard as you click the left bracket key [.. .then move the indicator in the timeline to the end of the segment.] Hold down the ALT key when you click on the right bracket key]

  Second Important... in the settings of export in Publish + share/computer /..., there must be an option for "Hand work area Bar only" next to which you place a check mark.

  When these two essential conditions are met, you should get your selected export.

• How to separate video clips online scene?

  I just started using first Elements 7 which came bundled with my new laptop with Windows 7 64 bit. I put with success of video clips in the Organizer. I want to move multiple clips in the sceneline view and add effects of transition between them. Here are the AVCHD movies that are stored on my hard drive (.mts files). I drag the first clip in the first box in the timeline, and then a new box opens to the right. I drag a clip to it, and it simply adds to the rear of the first element in the first box. No matter how many clips I try to add, I'm with them all the joint together in the first box. I cannot not change them, cannot add transition effects, can not remove a single clip. I also tried with MPEG movies I have already taken and stored on my hard drive.

  I have read the help files and bought two books on Premiere Elements, and this is not something that I see in the instructions. Is there a setting that I should look for to allow video clips present individually in boxes so that I can move around, clips of insertion, removal of clips, etc.?

  This is usually caused by having DD 5.1 SS Audio of your files. If you create a new project with the AVCHD Preset and choose DD 5.1 SS, this will allow its attachments for the line upward.

  You can change in timeline view Mode, as it is, but you need to scroll to see the Audio tracks, where the Audio of your Clip has disappeared.

  What version of Premiere Elements you are using and on what computer operating system is running?

  This looks like a split for me screen effect.

  If so, view Video 1 and the other directly above which is the other view on Video 2.

  Then crop each so that each occupies 1/2 the screen of the monitor area Edit.

  (widespread since I don't know your version of the software, see effects Transform/harvest).

  I wrote the following in 2011 for a user to first Elements 8 in another forum

  Your basic tools to reach your goal are video cropping and video effect of the Horizontal Flip.

  A video on the video 1 track.

  TWO video on the video track 2, directly above a video.

  Highlight video ONE on the video track 1, Edit Video-effects-Mode Effects/processing/crop, followed by adjusting harvest under change effects (see at the bottom of the effects Panel) so that a video occupies the left side of the screen.

  Do the same for TWO video on the video 2 track, Edit Video-effects-Mode Effects/processing/crop etc so that TWO video takes up the right side of the screen. BUT end with Edit Mode/effects/Video Effects/transformation/Horizontal Flip.

  Highlight video of each side to make fits into the range of properties and the appropriate panel (position, cropping, etc.). But remember that if you make changes in 'reverse' to the right of the screen, change the effects/Crop right option panel will be to the left and left option will be right.

  You may or may not need the part "flip" of the effect.

But I cannot use the stop(); command because it also stops the rest of my animations of the 121st frame from. So my problem is, how do we stop the clip without stopping the rest of my animations?

  As it seems, the problem is that the whole function of adding a clip to another clip suddenly was disabled or something. I had a look at the previous work of mine (.fla of course) because I remembered all of a sudden I used a clip in a clip, and it randomly doesn't work anymore either. Even the time line is published: only 1 keyframe and nothing else, but increasing the static guard timeline without worrying. What is going on? How should I do? Note: the .swf, I've also had it still work correctly.

  Control - enter to test a file - which will test animations and the code.  As I said, if you are looking at the timeline of the FLA, you don't test the file, you are just rub the timeline when you use Enter only.

  Your movieclips are animated in their own timeline, so you will only ever see their first image playing (Enter) chronology of the parent.  If you wanted to see the movieclip animate everything using the entry you need to move their entertainment in the main timeiline, putting an end to their lives as movieclips, or convert them into graphic symbols and expand on the main timeline.

  What you should probably to see the difference between animate them with a movieclip and animate with a graphic symbol, it is to create a dyplicate of your eyes of movieclip and turn it into a graphic symbol.  Then take the two and put them in the different layers of a timeline and put a stop() command in the first image.  Then, use Enter to play the timeline. You should see any of them anything.  Then, extend both along the main scenario for as many frames as they have for their internal animations.  Use enter again and you'll see that the version of graphic symbol anime.  Then use the command - enter and you will see only the movieclip anime.  Then remove the stop() command in the main timeline and use control - enter and you will see two of them animate.
