  As far as I know your laptop came with the recovery of HARD drive image. This means that it is saved on the second partition of HARD drive.   I'm trying to get a Satellite C850-1LK to turn on without success. When I connect the PSU it show initially an orange light indicating the power supply is connected. After a while of"charge" that the light has now turned white. Press and hold the power button has no effect. Laptop is no sign of life.

  I just bought a new Toshiba Satellite C850, everything works perfectly, however, there is one thing that gets annoying...

  The pointer keeps freezing once I have start using it, i.e. I can click to open an app and the cursor freezes for a few seconds before allowing me to use it. Alternatively, once I touch the keyboard to move the cursor, it doesn't move for a few seconds before it allows me to continue.

  Even as I type, I am trying to move to an area to select but the cursor won't move for about one second. She does it every time.
