How I change my screen brightness?

How I change my screen brightness? My Fn key works, but it does nothing when I click FN F7 or F8 to increase the brightness by using shortcut keys.

I used the function (Fn) button to do other things such as Fn + F9 (makes the mute volume on and outside)... and it works very well... but nothing happens at all the key brightening

Hello Bonnieoneal,

Thanks for your post.  Is the computer that you are referring to a laptop?  If this is not the case, try using the manual keys/buttons on the display itself.  If it is a laptop computer, contact the manufacturer of your system to see if there is a known workaround for this problem.  You might also look to ensure you have the latest drivers for your computer as well.

See you soon

Windows does not include hardware drivers or a screen rotation capabilities.  As your hardware or the hardware driver software does not change, it may indicate that you must reinstall the software, perhaps with a more recent version, you can do it from the manufacturer's website.  Alternatively, because the function doesn't do not part of the Windows operating system, you need to contact Acer support.

  • You cannot change the screen brightness once I downloaded 8.1

Hi all, I have a Pavilion Touchsmart and a 23 inch model, I've purhased in August of this year.  It was great to work with Windows 8.0.  Well, two days ago, I had the brilliant idea to update to 8.1, which was a big mistake.  The brightness was full and he says 'off '.  There was no slide to regulate.  After taking for Geek Squad at Best Buy, they couldn't do anything.  They have tried to put in the drivers and nothing has worked.  Then, I took the computer and called HP.  They also can't solve the problem.  This is a real joke, I can't control the brightness on the computer so now I'll go to Office Depot to get an anti glare screen, as we we.  It's absolutely amazing and no wonder people didn't go to Apple.  Any thoughts on how to remedy this situation?  Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Please report the number of HP for your PC product.  You will need to give drivers of Windows 8 and updates of the possible bios validated for your PC a try if Windows 8.1 drivers are not counted.

  • 11.1.1.3 spaces: how to change the screen spaces of public group

    Hello

Does anyone know if and how the Group screen public spaces can be changed (this is the screen that shows a list of all group spaces available to the public)? It is located at the following URL relative to a clean install:

    /WebCenter/Oracle/WebCenter/webcenterapp/view/templates/publichtml/WCPublicGS.jsp

you have a few options here... the more clean than the other...

You can edit the jsp on your WLS Server page... It is not very clean and you have to whatch when you upgrade your webcenter. It's the best way to do. You should only know where the jsp:
    \servers\WLS_SPACES\tmp\_WL_user\webcenter\3qhhvl\war\oracle\webcenter\webcenterapp\view\templates\publichtml

As said, it is not very clean...
A better way to do this is to write your own taskflow, deploying and add it to the catalog of resources. You can create a public page were you drop this taskflow. This way you can create any page you want. There is a lot of work but most flexible.

I don't think that there is a medium STANDARD of editing this page...

    Hello

Check with the system manufacturer, their documentation and online forums.

    800 x 600 & 1024 x 768 are 4/3 - and a few other resolutions may give a reasonable appearance
According to what you are running and dimensions/dimensions of the screen.
