How install on FF and TB on other than the C: drive?
I try to install FF and TB on a Windows 7 computer, today, 27/10/15. I started with FF and made sure that the end of the installation has been downloaded on the D: drive. The C: and D: drives are separate physical disks. The stub is for FF worm. 41.0.2 Nevertheless, it is installed on the C: drive.
I read two articles that seem to answer my question, but they do not work for me because the installation stub does not offer the option to choose custom install and it does not offer the option to select a destination drive.
I use another computer while askin that question. At best, I've changed the assumptions. I am trying to install on a 64-bit Windows 7 computer.
If the stub Installer offers an option for a custom installation, use the full installer - https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ - it's all I've ever used, and I do a custom always location.
Remember that no matter which logic / physical drive either Firefox or Thunderbird is installed on, the bulk of their respective folders is installed in/AppData/Roaming/on the drive where the operating system is installed. This is where the profiles will be implemented.
There are ways around that, but it can be committed depending on how you talk and other special requirements.

Can I install Adobe Reader on one drive other than the C: drive?
Can I install Adobe Reader on one drive other than the C: drive?
Hello
Welcome to Adobe Community. Yes, it can be installed on a different drive. Although some of the files installed by this last will be always installed on the C: drive.
When you run the Setup program, use "Change destination folder" at the bottom of the Panel
If you have Adobe Reader is installed on the C: drive, you must uninstall it before installing a new version to a different location.
Thank you!

I was cleaning some ad/bad/spyware on the computer of a friend. It runs XP Media Center 2005. When I restarted it, it wanted a password. He put never, ever. The only work around was to reinstall XP without deleting any of his files (more than 8000 music files) because it is not anything save. I put the new XP in a different folder, I named. After searching around, all of his stuff is there and I can access, but this new folder is take a LOT of resources/mem. There is almost nothing in this record, I can delete the new folder without compromising each other, installation? I think I would need to get rid of mode safe mode with command prompt. I did it so many times, but it's never happened to me. Help!
Once you get the drive installed, simply use xcopy or Robocopy to copy the files, with a fairly large music 8000 drop these command-line utility will be faster than to try to copy them through the Windows Explorer GUI. Xcopy is integrated with Windows XP, Robocopy is available for download from Microsoft.

You can install anywhere other than the C drive CS5?
I have CS5 on my computer and it works perfectly.
The problem I have is that I'm running out of space on my drive c. (currently 864 MB free 64.2 GB).
After a quick glance the stuff I have on this record, it seems to make sense to move Photoshop to another drive and instantly find more than 10 GB of space back. I already have a dedicated reader of Photoshop on my computer (H :) which contains all my brushes to fonts, Actions etc.) It would be great if I could install it here instead.
However, are acting to computers, I know that nothing is ever as simple as it of seems.
Could someone let me know what kind of trouble I could hope to do this, or even if it is possible to do.
Just out of curiosity, I started the CS5 Installer earlier today while still having Photoshop installed just to see if it was something he would let me do. (I have no intend to uninstall Photoshop of my C drive, until I know if it's feasible).
As you can see from the picture above, it shows that I have installed Photoshop and it shows the location (highlighted for you in yellow).
I tried to change the drive letter to H:, but I can't change the text in this box. I was wondering if this site relates only to the already existing copy of Photoshop. And so I need to uninstall the existing copy until I can change that. Or this site will always be C:\Program Files\Adobe regardless.
In short, is it possible to install CS5 on one drive other than C: without having any problems?
Also is it possible to install 2 copies of CS5 on 2 different disks? So I can test again before you finally get rid of the old.
Any help or advice are welcome.
Of course, you need to uninstall the current copy before installing Photoshop in a different place.
You can install only one copy of the same version both on the same PC.
You won't be able to install it in another location just to see if everything goes well before uninstalling the C: drive.
And Yes, choose another drive and the location in this area with the little installation folder icon will allow you to install Photoshop on another disk. Allows you to keep the majority of a gigabyte of software out of the C: drive.
Do not forget that there are a number of things (for example, the common Adobe software) which will always and only install on C: drive, however, and there is nothing you can do to change these locations.

Windows Live Photo Gallery has interesting features, I would like to use, but I have thousands and thousands of photos and cannot afford to use the default locations for the resource files and application folders. My c: drive is a small solid state drive, so I want ALL the resources of the application on another drive.
C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Photo Gallery has 6 GB of files it contains.I can't find a way to move this place also. The app also seems to copy original Images folder in several versions for restore points. How can I prevent that to happen? And how to configure this software so that the location of the original images is in a folder and drive that I specify, rather than the default location on the C?I would really like to continue to use this software, but I'll drop and throw if I can't get the resources that are located on a different drive...Thanks for the tips!Hello

How can I save the preview for other than the C: drive files?
My development machine has multiple drives and network drives. The c: / drive is older, slower and more complete. I use elements, but have used the first over the years. At the time, we could make the program work better by offloading the C: files. I don't see how with P Elements 9.
Go in Edition > Preferences and change the location of the disks to remove the program.
I use a lot of FW-800 external references, to migrate my projects between computers and keep my complete set of Scratch disks on the outside.
I wouldn't choose one of the disks in a network, because of the speed.
Good luck

Hello.
I just downloaded and installed workstation 7.1.3 and noticed that it didn't warn me as to where I can install it.
I want to install on a clean win7x64.
I would like to reinstall drive D.
Is this possible, if so, then please share how.
Thank you.
you missed a step - select 'tailor-made' - you can then select options - one of them being the path
But why would you do that? -only reason I can think of is to have very little free space in C:

How can I add an address book other than the "personal address book"?
My personal address book contains only the people associated with our homeowners association. I would like to create other books such as family, friends, golf groups, etc. I was not able to find a way to do this. It seems that the only options are the collected address book and the personal address book.
2 address books you list are the default books for Thunderbird. You can add more if you wish.
Open the address book window.
In the Menu bar, select file-new-address book -

How to better convert 01:56 and not lose quality other than the 4 K to 2 k
If I take a 4 K produce and convert/low res to 2 k by 2 k, importing in a time line am I lose quality other than the 2 k low res? Is it bad for the film? Does make a difference if the position would give me a 2 k vs file to me? It's a feature and I need lower res that it creates a DCP. so I'm concerned about quality. And is it all still do not lose quality on import and export. It seems that I lose 15GB.
YYou are reducing the resolution, but you're not really lower the quality. There should be no difference between you do it or someone else do it. The file will be much lower in 2K 4 K. It is to be expected.
