How keep the structure layers when you import files?

When I copy and paste a piece of another PDF file or HAVE, the layers were always reoganized. Most gone sublayer include their names, resulting in several layers and less organized. Same thing happens when I use the command "Set" to import a file. Is there a way to keep the structure of the layer when importing files? Sorry for my poor English skill. Thank you.

  • Change the highlight color when you select files or folders

    Hello
    Need assistance to change the highlight color when you select files or folders in Windows Explorer / my document.
    I use Windows Vista with SP2.  I tried to go to control-online personalization panel => color & appearance of the window and changing the settings.  However, I can't change the intensity of the highlights that I see it clearly.  A little blind colours, I would like to change the color to make it darker so that I could clearly see when an item is selected.
    I tried open classic appearance for color options properties more-online advance but did not find an appropriate under "Item" option that I could change.  I tried the step "Selected items" under ' point:' but that only applies when I double click on a file or folder.

    Sorry to hear that the option is good enough for you.  I've done some research more and that you still do not see a way to change what you're asking.  As I said before, others have mentioned this issue as well.  If I come across a way to do it, I'll post it here.

    In the meantime, I'm going to Mark this post as answer whose answer is:

    Currently, there is no way to make this change in Windows Vista.

  • Photo images to the draw layer: when you import pictures, it shows me the oldest first, how to show most recent first?

    Hello

    When I import an image from a folder on the ipad, it shows the older image first.

    So I have to scroll through my 1000 images to get to the most recent.

    is there a simple solution to this

    Thank you

    Jay,

    I'm going to make sure that the draw team sees this conversation, but at the present time, there is no way to reverse how images appear in the photo selection process. I'm sorry. I know that you are looking for a frame or something.

  • LR updates files in the wrong folder when you import by date

    Hello

    Sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a quick search, both here and in Google and could not find anything.

    I have a new camera (d700 YIPPEE!) and then import files LR4 (with the last update) to help to organize it by date option, the files are put in the wrong folders, for example photos of 22 December will go to 23 December and so on. I checked the date and time on the camera: it's OK (it's also good in the EXIF data).

    I don't know if it's something with the camera or with the LR update, because I have them both at the same time - I've ever had this problem before with D200.

    Someone had the same problem?

    Thank you

    Kasia

    ETA do not know if it matters, but I'm in Australia, UTC + 10, in which case it is a related issue of time zone

    There is a known bug and still not fixed, when import them directly from a camera attached and creating the folders by using one of the models to date Lightroom. This ADDS the time zone bug that is defined in the local system for the real time that the image was taken, then creates the file dated accordingly. So in your case, a picture taken after 1400 local time is placed in a folder with the next days date.

    The solution is either to import via card reader (it's only on direct import of the camera who bites the bug), or by copying the files from camera to hard drive before you import it. You can also import like today, but recognize that you need to rename the file after import... which is pretty easy to do.

  • problems to capture the audio layer when you import the m2ts files

    Hi all, I'm new on the side of the entire video editing and so would be grateful for the help.

    I just bought a camcorder Canon HF200 HD, and a Sony Vaio notebook that came with Premiere Elements 7.0 preinstalled.

    Last month I've been shooting sequences and down just to try to change everything and set up a DVD.

    The problem I have right now (and I've just started using the program, so everything is new for me) is that while I seem to be able to import the m2ts file format in which my camera records, only the video is imported by first - no audio (it reads the file ok, no errors appear, but when I go to review images there is video but no sound).

    I can play all my videos in Windows Media Player very well, both video and audio.  So it seems that my machine is able to read the files correctly in this program.  However, it seems that the audio drop out when I import the file in first.  The program was pre-installed on my computer and when I have a look at the audio settings, it doesn't seem to be a possibility to change the settings to something different.

    So far, I've spent a long time googling and trying to find a solution, but without any joy immediately.

    Enjoy the anyone can offer any assistance.  Is it just a simple setting I need to change?  Or I have to somehow convert the files in a different format before Elements 7.0 can read?

    Thank you.

    Jeff

    the machine I have appear to be consistent with the specifications required by PE7 (and given that it came with pre-installed PE7 which should be the case).

    There are two things to consider:

    1.) edition of most of the images, especially material to SD

    2.) editing AVCHD, currently the most demanding of all popular video formats to edit. That's what you have.

    Now when you launch the pre, you get a splash screen. There you can open new create a new project, open an existing project that has been recently opened, or open a project by browsing to it. We can also leave.

    In your case, you go again and when the dialog box opens, choose the preset for AVCHD w / DD 5.1 SS Audio.

    Also note, that in the Edit Mode, there are two Modes of display (access via two icons to the left of the lower panel), view timeline and sceneline view. For DD 5.1 SS Audio Clips, you will find Timeline View Mode to be the best. Now, you can switch back, but the timeline view Mode will give you infinite control. It is estimated that change the most programs use, and most publishers use.

    Good luck

  • Is it possible to keep the custom metatags when you create PDF from Word 2007 files?

    Does anyone know a way to have custom metadata attached to a Word 2007 document to be completed in the course of an Adobe PDF file? The "Save as PDF or XPS ' in Word 2007 command clears all custom metatags that you have attached to the Word doc as PDF file has metadata cleaned up when you open it in Acrobat X.

    However, in Word 2010, you can incorporate the MetaTags in the doc properties, create the PDF file using the Save as PDF, and the metatags are stored in the PDF file. So far, I have not found a way to do the same thing in Word 2007. (I know it is possible to add the metatags in Acrobat after the creation of the PDF file, but we are looking for a way to provide a Microsoft Word template that has the MetaTags already integrated, so colleagues by using Word 2007 can create PDFs that include our metadata.)

    Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Using check-in PDF or XPS does not use Adobe technology. You must use the Acrobat Ribbon to create PDFs using Acrobat technology (or print to Acrobat that does save all metadata).

  • Keep the text formatting when writing new file with FILEIO

    Hi all

    I wonder if there is a way to keep the formatting of the text when I write it in a new file using FILEIO. In particular, I have the following text in a domain member:

    test < background = L1_garaz / > (text in the tag a color and itsbold) test

    I use the following code to write the foregoing in a new filw using FILEIO:

    on mouseup

    Annot = member("annotator").text
    path = the moviepath & "Annotated_text\".
    whichanno = baGetFilename ('Save', ' "& path &" "," "," doc files | ") * .doc", 0, -2, 0, 0, 'save the doc file')

    myanott = new (xtra "FileIO")

    myanott. CreateFile (whichanno) - create
    myanott.openFile(whichanno,0)
    writeString(myanott,annot) - write the new string
    myanott.closeFile)
    myanott = CANCEL

    end

    the problem is that despite the type of file I want to choose to save it (.doc, txt, etc.), he refuses to save the text with its original formatting (with the colors and the words "BOLD"). No idea how to solve this problem?

    Use a member of text instead of a field member, then you can access the formatting of the text through property .rtf... then save this info to a file:
    Annot = member("annotator").rtf
    .....
    ...
    writeString(myanott,annot) - write the new string

    Quote:
    Posted by: wgb14
    NOP, its said property found rtf. So if saving to RTF (without change to the ownership of the member("annotator") still once he will not keep the main text formmat

  • How to keep the sort order when you rename a collection?

    I renamed a manually sorted Collection, but the sort order changes. Is it possible to maintain the order of the files when a Collection is renamed?

    In my view, the bridge works correctly implemented. Kinds of collection seem to be kept in a directory UserSort that contains an index and sort sequence list files. In win 7, it's . Entries in the file index.xml include the name of the collection and point to the xml file UserSort containing manually sorted sequences.

    A workaround solution you could try: go to the UserSort/Index.xml file find your former name of collection (.filelist) and change it to your new collection name.

  • How to keep the visible text when you place a chart?

    I'm working on creating a newsletter, and most of the time it is already laid out. Then my mentor and I got the idea to add a background image. (Okay, no biggie right?) I tried to select text boxes and bring them forward and tried to re - send the background graphic on the back with no luck. Then... of suggestions?

    Seems lik you applied text wrap tto the background graphic. Select and delete the text wrapping.

  • maintain the folder hierarchy when you import the HD?

    On my HD, I have a folder called 1-50 top-level, then under folders 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, and 41-50.  In a subfolder, 1-10, are sub-sous-records; 1-trip, 2-aunt Sally, 3 - Bob marriage, etc. that actually contains the pictures. Is it possible to import the folder named 1-50 and hold this whole structure?  If this isn't the case, how best to rebuild in Lightroom so that he can find good sources on the hard drive?

    You choose to add (as opposed to the copy or move) on the menu at the top of the import window.

    Which leaves the files in place on your disk.

    Instead of importing your slides, try to copy and paste them from the original of the project file in a new instance of Adobe Captivate and see if that makes a difference.

  • Avoid duplicates when you import XMLs?

    There are a few versions, we have fixed the problem to get the duplicate items when you import new projects in another.  This was very helpful.

    However, I have noticed that when you import XMLs, first does not apply the same level of... discretion

    Is it possible to get XMLs for import without creating duplicate items?  I found a workaround by first import the XML file into a new project and then import this project first to my main project... but when I'm in a great documentary film which takes 3-4 minutes to open each time, it's not ideal.

    This is particularly important for people using the Pluraleyes because organize us images in first and then export to the EP, and then must bring with XMLs, and it would be great if we didn't have to do a bunch of media management manual to avoid duplicates in the project file.
