    Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

    This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

    This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

    -Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
    For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
    Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

    For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
    Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
    your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
    Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
    Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

    Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
    with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

    Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
    Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
    BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

    Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
    presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
    in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

    Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

    If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
    Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
    older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
    get new manually if you wish.

  • How to make my computer run faster

    I'm trying to start a business at home with this computer, but it seems to be running slowly... I don't know much about them... I'm learning that I'm going with this... I want to run faster and want to know if I have any virus or bugs on my computer... I am unemployed and cannot afford to do something expensive right now I just want to start so that I can update my system as needed... If you could help me in this area that would be great... I just want to get my computer to preform at its best...

    Hello Rachel,
    * Make sure you do your household from the computer on a regular basis.
    If you do, everything should be ok.
    For example
    Check the disc.
    Defragment
    Cleaning disc

    Deleting temporary files
    http://www.Microsoft.com/athome/Setup/optimize.aspx

    * IE. - Security - delete browsing history.
    Check for the unwanted plugins.

    * As appropriate > IE open
    * Tools
    * internet options
    * advanced
    * reset

    * Make sure your Windows Update is running.
    All programs MUST be updated regularly.

    * If the stop overclocking.

    * On a regular basis, check in the Task Manager / processes / all users to see that it performs.

    * Check for errors in Event Viewer frequently.
    Notice anything with a red mark newspapers, Application & Windows System.

    * Monitor regular > Perfmon - {Task manager - resource monitor - CPU, memory etc.}

    * Remove no matter what software you evaluated and decided that you want to keep.

    * If necessary > run: (from a command prompt) - SFC/scannow and let it check/repair/check your system files

    * Some people optimize and compact the registry.
    It makes me VERY nervous and therefore I did not.

    * Re - registry cleaners

    Registry cleaners are often considered to be useful, but if you are a novice probably better avoid.
    They can cause loss of functionality and/or system instability.

    Avast, that you said that you are using, is a very good choice (but not quite)
    the best).

    But you said nothing about the anti-spyware programs. If you are not running
    anti-spyware, I think very hard is that you are infected.

    For an anti-virus program, I recommend eSet NOD32, if you're ready
    to pay for it. If you want a free anti-virus, I recommend one (are not
    run several) of the following three:

    Avira AntiVir
    Avast
    Microsoft Security Essentials

    You also need anti-spyware software. I recommend that you download and
    (both freeware) to install MalwareBytes AntiMalware and
    SuperAntiSpyware.
    In your situation, I highly recommend that you download and run at the same time
    MalwareBytes AntiMalware and SuperAntiSpyware.

  • How does the droid runs faster with less APPS installed?

    Then I started noticing my Droid dragged significantly to the point that it started to drive me crazy. I mean when I bought it was quick, smooth and AWEsOME! But after that I started to install on 50-100 APPs My Droid began to lagg. Initially, he remained at the same level as the Iphone 3GS, but after uploading a large number of applications, he couldn't catch up to the Iphone in terms of fluidity of the user interface. Like the animations would stutter or skip, transitions keyboard would be very unsmooth and typing was very uncomfortable. Dragging the status bar has become very lag, and if im browse apps on the market would take a long time to load compared to load in a splitsecond when I got to him (I have 3 G coverage)

    I GOT SO MAD to the point that I uninstalled evey App I ever downloaded except for the Basic apps that have been packaged with the Droid. And you know what happened? BOOM! The Droid has become SUPER FAST. He remained neck and neck with the IPHONE 3GS. Everything worked without problems.

    So, as soon as now, I don't like that 10 or 15 Apps. That sucks because that Im afraid to download games or anything like that because I'm afraid that my Droid is going to slow down again.

    Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions to fix this? Because I don't want to freak out use a smartphone with only as 10APPS...

    Help, please

    A PC uses RAM for the application processes. It temporarily stores the program into RAM so that it can communicate with the processor quickly. When the program is closed, it leaves the RAM to free up space for other applications/programs.

    From my understanding, RAM on these mobile devices perform the same function, but its also used to store long term applications. Thus, when you downloaded applications from 50-100, which takes a lot of RAM space. If an application requires a bit of RAM to work properly, it may have to borrow some RAM from another application. This 'loan' of RAM will slow down the process on your device.

    On another thread, Geoffrey explained how the RAM is an important part of storage apps to prevent over heating and other processing issues.

    When you remove your apps, the aircraft had a ton of RAM to play with! He didn't have to borrow, so processing time has increased.

  • How can I make my computer run more efficiently?

    Hello

    Okay, so I asked recently how I could make my computer faster. I have a Compaq Presario SR1601NX with HP ha17 monitor. It runs Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 3. I installed CCleaner and Defraggler on my computer. I use CCleaner at least twice a week, especially after using the internet. I also run Defraggler at least twice a month. In addition, I have Microsoft Security Essentials, that I keep up to date, as I do with Windows Firewall, automatic updates and Virus protection. I went through and remove all programs that I don't use, and I run chkdsk, find no problem. After you run CCleaner and Defraggler, my computer seems a bit faster. However, after some time, it is once more quite slow. Anyone know anything else I can do to make my computer run faster and more efficiently. I don't want to clutter up my machine with random programs. I'm also looking for things I can do for free. I prefer to buy a new computer than to invest money in my only current. It is just better to buy a new one? If so, what kind of computer should I get in? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

    CCleaner is a program to eliminate the stuff that you don't need, and so
    save you disk space; It really doesn't do anything to improve
    performance. Maybe defragment the hard drive can speed things up
    some, but how effective is it is depends on how you use your computer.

    With very few exceptions, all the programs that are designed to speed up your
    computer is nothing but snake oil powder and are likely to be a problem.
    I recommend that avoid you them like the plague.

    Without a lot more details, it is very difficult to know what is causing your
    problem, but maybe you run modern software and your former
    Material XP - era is really too slow for her.
    With Windows XP support this ending coming April, purchase a new
    computer and run the latest version of Windows (Windows 8)
    probably makes the most sense. It will give you a modern material and a
    supported Windows version.

  • What can I do to make my Satellite L750 run faster?

    Hello!

    First I should mention that I have no expertise on computers so I can look like a fool!

    I have a Satellite L750/L755 (8 GB of ram, I - 3) that runs very slowly (100% CPU when I do anything!) and it seems to be useless when it comes to playing games even very old.

    Recently, I found 32 twunk runs several times in my process and I don't know if it is a virus or not so many internet post report to the file to be a Trojan horse.

    What can I do to make my laptop run faster?

    Hello

    All with twunk.32 seems very fishy
    Maybe its some kind of malware so I recommend the system to factory settings, for the same settings as on the first day of purchase.

    After that, you could clean the system with some sort of freeware software: for example CCLeaner it will help you to clean the system registry and delete of junk.

    Of course, you could disable some processes that run in the background. This can be done in msconfig-> Startup tab
