How "merge" several duplicate layers together to make a single image?

  I have several sets of records, each with several subfolders, trees each subfolder that contains several files. I would like to merge all this into a single folder tree, maintaining the same subfolder structure and each subfolder containing a single set of files, eliminating all inevitable duplicates of the merger.

  Do this manually with Windows Explorer, it is painful and long. I have to select all the files in any subfolders, and then drag the selection to the subfolder in the main folder tree, choose 'move and replace' and check "do the same for the next x conflicts and repeat this process for each of the many secondary issues."

  Although I did an online search before posting this call for assistance, I have saw that of the utilities that will merge all files into multiple files in a single folder, I saw not a utility that will do what I need.

  I hope that someone will know of a utility that will allow me to win this manually for the next years!

  The solution proved to be easier than I thought.

  Rather that you select all of the files in each folder separately, which was painful and long, I chose each tree at once, and Windows Explorer did the rest, as it did before.

  If you click on your image in Design view and go to the properties panel > window > properties, you will see 3 blue icons down in the lower left corner. You can choose one and get a "hot spot" on the image. When you draw a hotspot Dreamweaver will provide you with an option to associate a link with it.

  I would like to change the file name by default for HTML pages produced by Lightroom 3 in the web gallery. Specifically, I would like to withdraw the name of HTML in the 'great' chain file so it exactly corresponds to image file.

  and I wish it were like that

  http://www.mysite.com/content/_c_EMT2146.html

  I guess that there is a way to make this change by using model editors, but I can't understand it.

  On Mac LR is provided as a package. You must Show Package in the Finder, and then work down to:

  \Contents\Plugins\Web.lrmodule\Contents\Resources\Galleries.

  I'm currently building a page for a cosmetics company in which clicking a color swatch opens a lightbox-style shots of model slide show using this color makeup. Each sample must trigger a slide show. I use Dreamweaver (CS6), and I'm sure that there must be an easy way to do it, but I didn't think about her again. (It would be a snap in Flash, but alas, the site needs to work on a wide range of devices).

  I appreciate any ideas and please do your easy to follow instuction if possible - pretend you speak of a dog or an eighty-six-year-old - because I am not as much experience that I must be. Probably not.

  I understand trying to promote your monthly subscription "10 free image" thing, but have you really made it impossible to just buy a single image?

  When you find an image that you want to allow, the basket option shopping will take you to a page where you can pay for the single image example

  Windows Explorer can do no such thing. To remove recursively a certain file is easy - see below. To identify duplicates and remove some of them is much more difficult, because:

  • Are two files duplicates because
    -They have the same name?
    -They are the same size?
    -They have the same file date?
    -They have the same content?
    -Everything above?
  • When they are, which ones should be deleted?
    -The oldest?
    -The most recent?
    -The batch?

  Here's how to remove a certain file to recursively. Assume that they are in the folder "C:\Users\BHunter\Documents".

  1. Click the start planet.
  2. Type cmd. exe and press ENTER.
  3. Enter the following command and press ENTER:
     dir/s/b/p 'C:\Users\BHunter\Documents\_10-Mar-15_1 '.
     This will show you all the files whose name above.
  4. del /s /q "C:\Users\BHunter\Documents\_10-Mar-15_1."
     This will permanently delete all files with the name above. You cannot restore them.

  Have you clicked on flatten image?  If you save the project and closed out of Photoshop has no way to unflattening the image.  If you have not yet registered, you can cancel using the history panel?

  

  In the future, I would like to put another version of the project before you flatten the image.  Or, you can duplicate and flatten the layer groups all at once. Simply select the layers you want to flatten, click right over them, select duplicate layers and press Command-E to merge the layers.  You can also right click on the layer and choose Merge layers.

  If you duplicate the layers in a first time you can just delete the merged layer and return to your original layers to make other changes.  This way of working is called non-destructive editing.  I always double-layered before working on them.
