  This depends on the printer you are using and the driver that you have installed, for instance, I have an older HP printer and a Windows 7 install, I only downloaded the base of 64-bit driver and cannot view my ink level, if I download the complete software suite will include probably the Toolbox and that will allow me to see the level of ink.   The question is - should I get standard XL cartridges? If those standard contains only a little more ink than the program installation which I think I might want to go with XL. If those standard contains already a lot more, maybe they'll meet my needs better. Contrary to the DeskJet 5655, now I have a choice of how much money to waste.

  European Qosmio G10 is known to me and I guess it must be the same as your Qosmio G15.
  It has two slot under the memory of the memory cover.
  Check the underside of your laptop and remove the small cover in the middle and check how many locations is inside.

  Update 8GB will not work. You old enough laptop and none of the old laptops can be upgraded with 8 GB of RAM. G10 can scale up to 2 GB and compatible module is PA3313U-1M1G.

  I also have charm. It has 170 MB of memory of the phone but that about 100 MB is already filled by motorola. Now, we have just about 70 MB of space to store apps. There is no way to install apps on SD or Flash. There is no custom ROM. But there is a way around the charm and then install Cyanogen. After that, you can partition your SD card in a primary memory of 512 MB (which act as a memory of the phone). And to change your applications to your SD card, you must Link2SD app. Just google these and you'll find pages explaining the methods.

  Now, if you want to use your charm factory without rooting and making it unstable, you just download the applications needed to charm which supports and then download an application called "appmonster. After that, save all of your applications. Then uninstall the applications that you do not use frequently. Download new again then backup. You call always reinstall applications that you have backed up and uninstalled from archive appmonster.

  In order to install Windows 7?

  If you want to make it work completely (after initial installation) and as well as possible (the most recent version of the hardware drivers) - that depends on the number of devices you have.

  If you mean for a minimum feature - chances are none - he will probably get the initial installation without any additional driver.  There may be several devices that don't work and more work "at least" as they can use generic drivers.
