  I'm not sure. It's old old stuff (the following remarks of memory, I mean). The memory used is that the PGA is controlled by Oracle. That said as much as I KNOW, the old stuff still works, so you should be able to get a control by pinning the packages and then by setting a value for large_pool. Not sure if it will be enough or if you set several values with values "hard."

  It depends on the software used for this backup.  Software backup can be put in place to keep a certain number of copies files, or images, it discusses the backup.

  32 bit can only recognize max 3 gig and not 4 GB. Also with the ATI graphics card, it automatically allocates approximately 400 to 500 MB of the gig 3 recognized ram for hypermemory thingy, which means that you get essentially around 2.5 GB for the rest of the software.
