How od I return 22 Firefox
If I had known you were going to change my UI (skin) I wouldn't have updated! Now that the toolbar of the URL (something that I rarely use) is attached to the tabs, I lost a quarter of an inch from my view. I keep this default toolbar. I wish you had warned me that your toolbars would crowd on my tab display area. Seems like a small problem, but not for me. I wish that you offered to let me and all of us the opportunity to keep the same interface and just download security fixes. Its form current Firefox 22 was very good and I knew where everything was. When I disabled the menu at 22 bar, I had a full half inch of display area. Now its less than an eighth. So please tell me how to get back 22 and keep my information intact. In the future please offers the skins separately from security updates for people like me who like the interface that they can keep them. Thanks David
You can watch the classic extension theme restaurateur restore some features that has been lost with the arrival of the Australis style in Firefox 29.
- Restorer of classic theme: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/
This includes the ability to hide the Navigation toolbar.
- You can check the settings of the extension of the CTR through the Options/preferences button on the page "Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions.
- You can find additional toolbar buttons and additional toolbar settings in customize (Firefox 3-bar menu button > customize)

I changed a couple of parameter in previous versions, to speed things up. These parameters have been "inherited" from version 6.x which I think has more need.
I want to return my Firefox settings by default, (processing pipeline, server calls etc) but don't want to lose my Add-ons, Extensions or Persona settings.
Is this possible?
My Firefox will REALLY slow and crashes oftencordially.

PulpKult...Creating a profile will return all of your default settings of Extension/add-ons, you will need to re - install the Extensions/additional custom modules in the new profile
Most of the settings that you have probably set different values are in about: config, then filter = network.http (I watch 24 elements in Firefox 6, all with the 'status' = default)
- Those that are displayed in the lower panel in fat and as a user set are items that have been modified by you and/or an extension/add-on.
- You can right-click on these elements, in your case those typically shown as "whole" types and choose "Reset".
- Those who re - appear after restart of Firefox are possibly be changed/added by an Extension; There were / are many extensions to change these settings
- After "Reset", not with an empty value (there should be none in network.http unless you added), will be deleted when you restart Firefox. those are elements that are not the default set of preferences hidden in your version.
- Make a list of what you change hidden preferences (topic: config) so that you can reverse these changes later if needed.
- List of preferences network.http: _ http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox: _FAQs_:_About:config_Entries #Network.
- The list is not entirely current or complete, but is the best we have at this moment
- Do not add new products to your preferences, unless you know what you're doing
- Do not delete all the elements of your preferences, unless you know what you're doing
- See: http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config

How to open 2 e-mail accounts Yahoo separate at the same time, without using an add-on or plug-in? I can do this in Internet Explorer by clicking file | New Session. I don't see how to do this in Firefox.
You need two independent sets of cookies to achieve and that an extension can do this.
- Multifox: http://br.mozdev.org/multifox/
You can get a second series temporarily passing to private browsing mode and open the current session, but still allows you the same account only one way at the time and you have to identify you again after returning to the first account by stopping mode PB.

I was using the old version of Firefox that has been recently disabled. How can I return my favorites?
Consider moving to a cloud-based bookmarking platform. A cloud platform, there is no need to back up, synchronize or import your bookmarks as they are saved automatically and intrinsically synchronized and all your bookmarks are always available using any browser from a computer, mobile phone or tablet. My company operates http://iCrumz.com, a free Internet based on a cloud, bookmarking service. The iCrumz interface allows you to have 100 or more bookmarks on a single Web page without being crowded. iCrumz also offers a feature to import, you can import and consolidate all your bookmarks for all your browsers on all your devices. Check out our short intro (1 minute) video: http://youtu.be/QDD23whIlrw contact me if you have any questions. Matthew [at] iCrumz [dot] com.

A newer version of Firefox has been improved on my laptop. After the upgrade, a message came that my McAfee Antivirus Plus would be more compatible with the new version of your product.
Again, I have several months in use more protection against viruses and do not have the money to buy something else. I need antivirus protection work and need detailed instructions on how to return to the old version of Firefox 4.
If you can't help me, I have to go to IE and I really want to do.
I have a fairly new laptop bought in October 2010 and am under Windows 7 operating system.
Thank you.

How can I return to 4.0 3.6 I've never had a problem with 3.6 and now 4.0 crashes all the time tell me how to go back
Downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first of all uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option 'remove my Firefox personal data '. If you select this option, it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
Then you can install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your favorite courses, passwords etc.
I recommend, to avoid possible problems with decommissioning, accessing your profile folder and delete the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Delete these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, check their compatibility and cancel the toolbar customizations.
For more information on how to find your profile folder, see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles

How can I re - install firefox without losing my data. It is infested bame ad.
Firefox is infested with "ads name.
How can I get rid of it or how can I
Re-install firefox without losing any data? There is a rash that goes around, and the solution is not yet clear 100%. I suggest try reinstalling this way:
Clean reinstall it
We use this name, but it is not about the deletion of your settings, it comes to ensure that program files are-own and contain no alien code files. As described below, this process does not disrupt your existing settings. Don't uninstall NOT Firefox, that does not need.
(1) download a fresh Installer for Firefox 37.0.1 of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).
(2) close Firefox (if applicable).
(3) to rename the program folder
(Windows 32-bit folder names)
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
TO
C:\Program Files\OldFirefox
(Windows 64-bit folder names)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
TO
C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox
(4) run the installer you downloaded in the #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.
Any improvement?
Note: Some plugins can only exist in this OldFirefox file. If it is missing something essential, present in these files:
- \OldFirefox\Plugins
- \OldFirefox\browser\plugins

How to connect to the firefox sync through sync key?
Hello.
Prior to re - install Windows, I saved my Firefox Sync key.
After installing windows, I can't to access my firefox sync account for my favorites! It is said: unknown account, register!
But I have a KEY, I need my favorites back!Help me, please, to the recovery of my favorites back!
Thank you.You must use a very old version of Firefox if this version has always used a separate key for synchronization.
29 Firefox and later no longer use a specific key synchronization, but derive the key to the synchronization of the password of the Firefox account that you use to sign in to this account. You need a version of Firefox 28 to connect to an old account of synchronization that uses the key of the synchronization.
