  When I upgraded first, I thought that the calendar application has worked with Hotmail calendars only. Now I realize, it can also use a Google Calendar.  However, I can't find the app anywhere. Because I customized the start menu in Windows 8, I don't want to have to reinstall Windows 8, just to get back the calendar app.  Is there a simpler way to restore/reinstall this app?

  Try the steps below to reinstall the calendar, then check:

  (a) move to the Start screen. Click on store of tile to open Store.

  (b) once the store is open, under the spotlight, you can see the apps. Click on had apps? Tile to display the complete list of the applications provided with Windows 8.

  (c) click or tap the application you want to install. This action will open the details page, where you can see the features, the release notes and comments.

  (d) on the left (on the page of details) pane, you will see install button. Click install to begin the installation of the application. You're done!

  Thanks for the suggestion. I solved my problem differently... and for some reason that I have not seen the options you describe in your instructions.

  (1) how I fixed it:
  -even as a) above:- start of the screen, then I clicked on store of tile
  -in store, I moved the cursor to the upper right and did a Search of the store.
  -the 'trick' is to be found for the search "E-mail, calendar, people, and e-mail" simply "calendar" will NOT find the application of Windows 8 calendar (someone needs to fix this!).
  -By clicking the 'Mail, calendar, and Messaging People' application, it installed fine and I was back in business.

  (2) re: your instructions:
  -in step b) your instructions you say so when I opened the store, under the spotlight, I see "Got apps?'." "   I have never seen this prompt, yet clicked or go to the right margin.

  There is no option to add captioning for all training Interactions.

  If the 508 compliance is critical to your project, use not of training Interactions.

  Similarly, there is no option to add captioning for Smart Objects in exactly the same way you do for the slides.  However, you can include text in the smart form that corresponds to the audio in the Appendix, or you may want to include the text in the Description field in the accessibility so that it is read by screen readers.

  However, I suggest that rather than trying to make your e-learning multimedia, 508 compliant you get your client to agree to provide a version of fully accessible document by the web of your course to disabled learners rather.  This way you can meet their needs to have something totally compatible with screen readers without compromising the creative possibilities of e-learning for other non-disabled learners.

  I'm not clear - you try to do this in Windows 7 or Windows 8?

  Whatever it is, the basic procedure is:

  1. open the cutting tool.

  2. create the new chiseled image.

  3. Select Save as.

  4. give it a name and select the image type from the menu drop down.

  (PNG is generally preferable for screenshots)

  5. save it to the desired location on your hard drive.

  6. open in an app - integrated image editing paint will do.

  7. open the image that you saved earlier.

  8. click on resize (in painting its on the home tab, in the upper part).

  9 select whether you want to resize a percentage or a non-specific pixels & enter the settings.

  10. Select maintain proportions if you want to keep the ratio width even height.

  11. click on OK.

  If you use Windows 8 and when you double click on an image it goes to an application full screen then it looks like this file type can be associated with the application of the user interface modern Photos. Please see:

  Finally, the solution is very simple:

  You can use "th_TH@calendar=gregorian" instead of "th_TH" while initilaizing the DateTimeFormatter!
