  Reason: Inbox is not synchronized in iCloud. When you use the MBA and scatters messages manually I have to start over all when the iMac.   Yay!  I finally had to remove it with your help!  I chose the original email to remove then scroll down for the final message to remove, but before choosing it, I held down the control and shift together key at the same time, and then I clicked on the last email to delete, then selected the icon to delete (X) at the top and now the shift keys and command down.  It took several minutes to remove 2,000 emails, but I still 16 000 more to go.  I think I'll just delete them all at once... it takes maybe 15 minutes or more to clear them at the same time!  Thank you, thank you!... Now to get my Windows mail to stop appearing in the Security window to enter my username and password for (whenever I have enter them, Windows Mail sent me a few thousand emails duplicate!)  I already deleted and then recreated the accounts, so I hope it works!

  If you have the file somewhere on your hard drive, export and import tools it will be important back to Thunderbird.

  This issue may occur because of corrupted inbox in Outlook express.

  Perform the following troubleshooting steps and check if this solves the problem.

  Step 1:

  Create a new folder and move all mail from your Inbox to the new folder in Outlook Express.

  Follow these steps:

  a. click on the file menu.

  b. Select the folder and select new.

  c. give an appropriate name for the folder.

  d. Select all mails in the inbox and move to a different folder.

  e. move mail to the new folder.

  Step 2:

  I suggest to delete the Inbox.dbx file in your computer.

  In Windows XP Outlook Express files user (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under Start, Control Panel, Folder Options and view.

  Follow the steps to delete the Inbox.dbx file.

  a. close Outlook Express.

  b. use the search option to find the box of Inbox.dbx.

  c. delete the Inbox.dbx file.

  Note: Another will be created automatically when you open Outlook Express.

  I clicked on start, Control Panel, Folder Options/view.  Point of view, a list of Options have been posted and some have been checked, including 'display the hidden files and folders '.
   
  I do not know how to find Inbox.dbx.  I still find 41 messages in the Inbox, 78 in the deleted items and 14 in mass mailings.  When I click on "remove" messages, I get a message - "the server is not found. In addition, unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server.
   
  "I uncheck" "include this account" so then, I probably is no longer get emails in Outlook Express.  My hard drive is pathetic looking.  I find a small "Ribbon of pink pie (unused space) and in the rest of the cake shape is 'BLUE'.  I thought that E-mails from Outlook Express can be responsible for my hard drive being so full. After I empty all these junk emails in 2008, I have to know what else I can remove to open more space on my hard drive.

  After deleting messages in OE, go to file | Folder | Compact to reduce the size of the folder.  Otherwise removal does not affect the size of a folder.  You should probably go to file | Folder | Compact everything to reduce all sizes of folder in OE.  I would like to make a backup first.

  For more free space on your disk, click Start | Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk Cleanup.

  It is not best to start a new message when you are tracking on another, because nobody knows what you're referring to when you the previous thread.  I managed to find it well and Bruce said: ' tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run '.

  There is no API to access an SMS message in the Inbox.

  You could count SMS that they come in the device, but your account will always be wrong because you can not detedct the deletion of the message.

  This isn't a 9.2 e-mail feature in itself. Some settings must be changed at the same time. Mail is not a parameter to mail to disappear of itself, but it could be defined mail disappear other systems or devices access the same mail server and account.

  It can be caused by access to an e-mail account via IMAP on some systems / peripheral (s) and POP on other (s), according to the system of POP/device settings. (For example, if the system/device access via POP is set to delete messages from the server after a week, then ropes/devices to access the server even not see messages after the device/system POP them deleted from the server.)
