How simple extraction do more consistent results in trace file,

Hello Experts,

In my trace file, one thing I don't understand is clearly why a single extraction contains more than 1 get consistent results? Can someone just explain this please? As you can see only the first and the last extraction get over a uniform result (cr = 5, cr = 2).

Is this possible? Why is that?

My last question is to make recursive calls is the value of cr (consisten GETS) increase? If so, what fetch is done of this? first? second? third?

Looks like you think of the freelist management.

Under the SAMS, the cr number gets reported in the first extraction could be much higher - probably up to 16 - and it still is missing a number of visits due to the segment header block and the blocks of space management. Unfortunately I don't know of a mechanism to track the visit of each block in 11g (which I think is using the OP).

How to obtain consistent results of execution of requests

We use the Oracle 10 g on Linux platform.

We have a 6 monthly partitioned table. I now want to partition on monthly basis. To see the impact of this change on the sub query, I compare the runtime of the two tables. I run the test on a test database where there is no session of another user. But I get inconsistent results. Sometimes, the query took more than a second and sometimes it takes about 500 Mill seconds.

How you calculate the time won't. Do not like that. Enable SQL_TRACE in your session and run your query. Then use TKPROF to format the output to know the exact details of the execution of the query of the trace.

1 extract the ftc node: reportingGroup (see attachment file) which may have 1 or more items. The result should be as an XMLTYPE.
2 save the XMLTYPE of nbr extract. 1. in an XMLTYPE table.
3 Anaïs the table XMLTYPE of nbr. 2 and create a new XML file to the same structure as the nbr. 1, but with all the reportingGroups where clause accordingly.

Well, then seems as simple as this:

There are other ways to achieve the same result, but basically as an extract all nodes in ReportingGroup and aggregation them once again in a single XML fragment you can better manipulate to generate the final document required.
