  I'm afraid it's true, you will not be able to reload the OS or boot from a usb cdrom drive, since it is not supported by the bios, the only way to boot from a cd is to use a cdrom pcmcia (with a 16-bit connection).

  In the following video, Mr. Smith a first extrude text. Then, about 40 seconds, he takes his pencil and draw a line and it is automatically expelled. How the hell did do that? Looks like it is expelled as soon as it leaves his click. Am I just missing it does 'shift-control-e' to apply the same 3d effect immediately to his line?   My Flash program contains a 'Symbol' MovieClip and then to the breast of this "Movie Clip" there are 3 layers, which are about 6-7 long chassis.

  Right now is size of video Clip "1680 x 1050" and it is centered on the stage. But the registration point is in a strange situation. It seems

  as it is biased a bit and to the right.

  I was wondering if there was a way to change the point of alignment in the same way as when you create the symbol (* that is when it shows you the )

  points of type "grid" which you click on one of them and it becomes its registration point)? I read about how you can change the registration Point of

  by clicking on the Clip and then clicking on Edit > Edit Selected/symbol/In_Place. But when I try that it's really hard to get where I want it to be...

  What I want is the upper-left corner of the symbol for the registration Point, which is the top-left corner is "0,0"

  Anyway I can do without having to "Hands-free" move image to the Point of alignment... ?

  Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  You can always create another movieclip that you (select the mc and choose create MovieClip) and when you specify the upper left corner to be the alignment point.

  I need to create instances of a clip 100. Is it better to add functions for these clips in the movie clip class or in a separate category?

  For example, I move(), setPosition(), setRotation() functions, would be that create these features a hundred times and held memory or just reference functions? What could be better?

  There is a slight advantage to create a function to handle all objects of class vs each class having its own class.  but it's such a small benefit that's not worth it to sacrifice any principle of encapsulation, so you should let each Member of the class to use the class methods.

• FLVPlayback, scrubber, is there a property for how the scrubber moves?

  I built a flash site that has a video player. I use a FLVplayback component and a skin flash for controls. I use CS4 & AS3.

  When you watch the video and click on the washing area, the video will jump but it seems that there is a limit of size on the movement.

  Here's and example, if you click anywhere on the scrubber from the start about 30 seconds, the scrubber jumps automatically at the beginning even if I could have clicked around the mark 15 seconds.  If you click on the screen later in the film, it seems he'll jump a certain seconds instead of exactly where I clicked on the slider bar.

  My question is, is there a property that controls the amount of movement scrubber?

  Starting from your description, it seems that the video has not enough keyframes in it... If you look at the NetStream property research you will see that it works based on key frames and is the closest. You can try to re-encode the video and set the interval to keyframe manually - around 30 or less.

  I was looking for a simple solution to this issue for more than a year. I saw a few solutions

  that work, and lots of questions that remain unanswered questions.  So I thought that I get it from the pros.

  I have a nested clip (image sequence) I use the snippet of Flash CS5 GoToAndPlay.  The Clip

  loops continuously.  How to play once and stop.  I tried the snippet for the stop, I tried

  Stop(); in my layer "Actions".  I tried a stop(); in the last picture of my sequence nested.  I tried a stop to the

  end of the function, but nothing stops this 'thing'. He keeps going and going and going.  This is my typical of the code which

  loops...

  On the first frame of my main script, I have:

  I also have a movieclip in the main scenario that has the following on its 1 setting:

  When launched, I get the above error.
  
  How can I access variables declared in other clips and the main timeline and calling the methods declared in other MC and the main timeline?
