  As far as I KNOW, web browsers do not read image metadata.

  You should use the alt attribute for this sort of thing, or you might have a legend hidden with 17 languages, if you do not want to display on the web page.

  Hello Ken, I'm not sure that I can help because I don't know what a 'wired blue globe'.  However, you have described as a flattened .png.

  If you try to add a shadow to a .png of resource file in your Fireworks work?

  NB.  It is unusual to flatten a .png file, because the .png files are used for transparency and flattening out this quality.  I use Fireworks CS4 and a PC, and I've tried both a normal and a flattened .png.  These image files have been imported into the document, on any given page, then their own layer.  In addition, I right click the none flattened .png and was still able to add a drop shadow.

  Make sure that you did your household and know that the asset you are trying to add a drop shadow, is highlighted in the layers panel, and you are on the right page. Also, make sure that the view of the page layout is in iconic Mode [top-right]: which means go all the panels icon and the properties panel is entirely visible.

  For PC, set the value of the assets, choose Properties, click the small arrow next to the + sign, filter located. If this does not work for you. Then give more info on how you created the asset, what operating system you are using and what version of Firefox.  I hope this helps.  Sometimes, all programs Adobe sort of can get stuck.  So just close doc and open again and hopefully, should dissipate the bugs.  Best wishes

  I have a photo scrolling banner where a series of about 10 photos are placed horizontally; This banner scrolls slowly horizontally on the screen.   Now I want each image contains a hyperlink on the area of the photo or on a part of the area of the image. This hyperlink must for each photo point to a differetn my site page. At any time the links should stay accessible to click the visible images, while the banner scrolls.

  I was advised to use a function attached to each photo: onClipEvent (mousedown) getURL ("http://www.mysite.com","_self"); another consultant had to use imagex.onRelease = function () {getURL ("http://www.site1.com") ;} }

  imagey.onRelease = function () {getURL ("http://www.site2.com") ;} }

  etc...

  but I'm not familiar with this and I'd like to get help or more on how to attach such a function to each image.

  Otherwise, I thought to use a transparent button placed on each image with a hyperlink. But it's just my inexperienced idea, and I think that the first two proposals are much more appropriate.

  This error message is because you attach the code to the movieclip, not a framework.  to remedy this, click on your movieclip, copying the HTML code to remove it, click on an empty part of the scene, now right-click in the Panel actions and click on paste.  Repeat the test.

  On your frame of legend. Go to object > text frame Options and check the option "ignore text dressed '.

  Set it as a style of the object and assign your "paragraph of the legend style" style of the object while you're there.

  There are two functions that can have is is scrambled here: "Watermark" and "identity plate". These can be configured independently.

  A watermark is always "by the image", I think. But an identity plate is "per page", UNLESS you check the option "render on each image.
