Not an option in the Windows Photo Gallery.

Easy to do with Picasa free software:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

Picasa

After you download and install Picasa...
Open the program and double left click
an image to open the editing functions.

To add text to the front of the photo...
choose... Simple retouching / text button...

  • How to use text variables and the Image for printing

I work for several months on the product with AS3 Configurator.
I am not competent with AS3.
Now, it seems that perhaps my design is all wrong.
Is there a good way to do this?

I have a main scenario that has video clips showing images of different options for the product.
On the first image, I use buttons to select the choice for option 1 of the Option1_mc.
Can I store the selection in a variable.
I use a button to go to the next choice (screen 10.)

On frame 10, I use buttons to select the choice of option 2 in the Option2_mc.
It is stored in another variable.

There are about 10 options that are selected and stored in variables.
Some are text values and other images taken from video clips Option instances.

I made a Print_mc to use to printjob.
I can't get the values of the variables to display the first image for printing.

    Any helpl would be appreciated.

    You are welcome.

you will not be able to insert a variable into a textfield.  you are going to assign to the text of your TextField property set to one of your points of variables to.

Thus, for example, if you have:

    var var1:String = 'this is a test ';

    You can use:

    TF. Text = var1;

Gene a little, I often create page with column layouts and wrap around the images.  Customer return and want to put a caption ON the image, to realize, I have to spit the columns up, which can be a pain when using multiple columns in an image and remove the skin of the image

Does anyone have a simple solution to this problem that would allow me to maintain the original column layout

    Graeme

On your frame of legend. Go to object > text frame Options and check the option "ignore text dressed '.

Set it as a style of the object and assign your "paragraph of the legend style" style of the object while you're there.

  • How can I encode a sequence of images for my website?

    Hey guys,.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to create a sequence of images or slide show

    display images for my website.

    All ideas/opinions?

    Thank you

So happy you asked this questions. Create a sequence of images or a show drag Image for my web was one of the albums I wanted to learn when I started. Some time ago I found this resource, and to this day I still use it. He has since updated the version of the cursor of the malsup but I learned on this one and it still works very well for me.

The one I use, but it is older

    Version 2

    Useful advice

In your Firefox browser, when you look at the examples hit ctrl + allows you to see the actual coding.

Or put the link in your dreamweaver interface and look into Dreamweaver

  • How to ADD color settings to softproof to match print?

I calibrated my screen and added the printer color profile the test of Lightroom. The result is good, but the color and the contrast is still slightly outside the blue parts. I can change those by changing the settings in the calibration of the camera and the brightness of the LGV. I saved these changes to a model.

No, I just want to ADD these changes to each image I want to print. Howevery, existing modifications will be replaced by the model, instead of added.

What is the best way to add corrections to the test in multiple images?

A preset in the develop module will define the preset values, they are not additive. The saturation level of blue-15 is an exact value that will be applied if it is what is in the preset. If you have a group of images which need this adjustment also highlight these images and turn automatic synchronization and manually adjust. You can also create other presets with settings different blue saturation.

Develop adjustments made in the quick settings in the library module are related, but you are limited to the adjustments that can be made. And color setting you are looking for are not available in this mode.

is this something related to "xfa.host.messageBox ("Blah Blah")"

    Thanks in advance

Everything you did was rearrange the instructions in the Click event of the button... I am referring to an event called prePrint. This event is called before printing is made... .This is where your message needs to go. Then on the click event, you can have your normal print command. Here is a sample

You will also need to convert it to CMYK for printing... ?

Image > Mode > CMYK color

CMYK conversion is needed to offset printing. Inkjet printers expect RGB data. If the fed CMYK, they will convert just right back to RGB.

And do not use the picture Mode. Convert to profile to use, once you have given the right CMYK printer profile.

Despite this, the photos most commonly presented as RGB these days, the final conversion is prepress.

  • reverse an image for printing

I have a printer HP Photosmart 5520 and I want to reverse your image to print. Is there a way to do it on my printer or I have to use a photo editing program. /

    Thanks Len

    Hi @race5590,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support with your print request.

I understand that you use a HP Photosmart 5520 e-all-in-one printer with a Windows 7 computer and you were wondoering if an inverted image printing is an interior option selectable by software of the printer. I would like to help.

Reverse an image is not available as an option in the settings of the printer, but if you have the image stored on your Windows 7 computer, you could open the image in MS Paint and flip the image horizontally to get an inverted image.

    1. click the button Start on the Windows desktop.

    2. click on all programs.

    3. click on the folder Accessories , and click Paint to open the program.

    4. click on the button of the paint .

    5. click on Open.

    6. Once you have navigated the PC and selected the desired image file, click Open.

    7. when the image is loaded, select rotation in the section of the Image, and then select back horizontally.

    8. click on the paint button again and select record under to rename and save the inverted image.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

Indeed, if this help you to achieve a solution please click the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

    Thank you!

  • Correct sizing of the image for printing

    Good day to all;

I'm a bit new to all this, so that this question may seem a bit simple.

Is there a correct way to size for printing photos. That's what I did.

My camera is set to 6 meg gives me a great original. I want to take advantage of this and print on a 4 x 6.

I bring to the top of the image, select print > click on 'media adapted size. This gives me the size of

    5.333 X 4.

I'll return to the selection of the photo: Image > Image size. Under the Document size, I enter 5.333 width. The change of height to 4

Question, I am doing this correctly

    Thank you all

    Chomp

    Use Image > Image size.

Set the resolution to 250 (for inkjet) and put in your long size in inches.

Check "Keep proportion" to avoid any distortion.

' Save as... '. "under a new name.

  • How to add a movement to an image (jpg, png, etc.) which would be compared to a video below layer?

Involved in the photo below, the camera starts high in the sky, then descends to the horizon line, then rises to the top.  The Moon is a png that was added in above the video layer.  I would like to the moon to stay indoors is false position, independent of the movement of the camera.  I think that I have to animate png, but to do it in a way that is precisely relative (and opposing) for the movement of the camera is a bit beyond my knowledge.  I tried to add a layer zero, next move a point fixed on the horizon line, and then paste this query into the null value and makes against my png of moon.  It sort of works, but the Moon is hanging at the bottom of the screen when the device has reached its peak, rather than move "off-screen" with where the horizon line would be metaphysically.  Suggestions?skyline.JPG

You have three options. The first would be to motio track something like the top of the building that is closest to the Moon and then apply this info followed by a null value and a relative of the moon to null.  If the top of the building is going out of the frame, you can simply stop the analysis and then take the track when the building is in the framework. You must then set a couple of keyframes by hand to operate the shooting.

You will be able also to the track of the camera that shot and then set a plan of mass and origin and a null reference. You'd then the Moon layer 3 - d, hold down the SHIFT key while parenting the moon to null if the layer of the Moon aligns with the position of the null value, and then add a extra z to the Moon and scale space to adapt.

If the movement of the camera is fairly smooth simplest option may be to set up some sort of guide layer so that you know how the Moon is supposed to be above the building at the beginning and at the end of the shot and then frames to keyframes for the position of start and end. Then you move to the top of the camera movement and set another keyframe to the position of the moon. You can then open the graph editor and adjust speed curves to make the shot look right. This last option may be the simplest. It's hard to say.

I just thought of another option that would work perfectly if you have something in the shooting that remains in the frame. You could stabilize point usingthat motion then position your Moon, then add a null value and link the position property of nulls for the anchoring of the sequence, then parent both the images and the Moon for the null to remove the stabilization, add the camera to the Moon movement.
