  PPI is not serious on the web. Browsers think in absolute pixels and take 72 dpi or use the DPI screens as defined in the settings of your operating system. Also to export slides as images using a simple file--> save as, and choose an image as PNG format or create screenshots, not copy & paste. Of course none of this will mean anything, if you resave the than smaller ones. No one can discern anything at these sizes lowercase, regardless of the wiith or without interpoalted pixels "mushing upward.

  I'm looking for a photo gallery that has the ability to rearrange the images displayed from the subcategories or tags. For example, I want to add a gallery which contains pictures, a projects of clients. The client wants to visitors of the site to be able to mix the Gallery to display only e.g. 'stone walls' or 'wood decking. A system of marking would be useful rather than having to load the pictures in each subcategory.

  The other consideration is that my client should be able to add new images with labels using the browser via Business Catalyst. So far, I've only managed by replacing the existing images rather than adding new images.

  If I'm not mistaken, basically you want to provide users an option to select the category of images as they appear on the page.

  Muse, we cannot tag or categorize, also the module of British Colombia Photo Gallery does not provide this option, but there is a solution with web applications.

  You can create a web application and web then elements app in the form of images and then rank them. When page inserting the web application with the categories drop down, so when users select the category these items in web application would show on the page.   I am brand new with photoshop elements 11.  I'm having a problem understanding how to import new images in the layers panel.  If I type "create a new layer" all that I get is an empty layer.  I want to do is to import an image where I'll cut part of it and layer it on another image.  For example: of lets say I want to put a picture of myself in front of a tree.  I want to take the image myself from a photo and he sleeps on the photo that has the tree on it.  How can I get both of these images in the layers panel even?  I can get the picture of me in the layers panel as layer #1, so I can cut myself out of the picture.  My problem is when I try to import the picture with the tree on this subject, it opens upward in a new tab.  If I try to hit 'create a new layer', only a white layer appears above my first coat.  I tried to drag the new image on the layers panel, but will not join.  All the tutorials I could find and monitor, have already all the images they work with pre-loaded in the layers panel.  I just need to know how to get my pictures in the Panel, so that I can start working with them.

  Just paste the photo. It turns on a new layer, which is OK, but then you just drag the mask above. Remove the old layer.

  In Acrobat 9, you can select "Document > add watermark ' or ' Document > Add Background" and select a file that has the image. You can adjust the location for your needs. It is available in other versions too, but I don't remember the exact menu items.
