How to Auto poplulated fields of index for scanning profiles

Hello

I worked on Webcenter Capture 11.1.1.8.0, we have recently configured profiles customer capture and we have also set up Email profiles and analyze the profile.

My concerns here, how to index get fields automatically filled for individual profiles of customers during the analysis of the images of the invoice.

currently I feed the index on manual work fields. We want to avoid the manual work and it must be filled by full Auto the index fields in the analysis of the invoice for each individual customer profiles. Different index values should appearance for differnent customer profiles.

the above requirement, is there configure everything can be done in Capture console. We must make this resolution with Console to capture only not to provide all the scripts. We do not want to use Scripts for this requirement.

Please help me. This something urgent for the business scenario.

If your question is: "How can I apply different default values of metadata based on the customer profile?" then I think that you will have to do so via the import processor (if you use is not a scanner), recognition or scripts custom.

You can set up a default for each metadata field, but this won't cut it for you.

You can probably do this through recognition jobs processor by creating a different one for each customer profile and defining your customer post-processor on his work of processor rcgn correspondent.

Hope this helps,

-ryan

  • Question on the composite index and index skip scan

    Hello
    I have a confusion.
    I read the post of Burleson on the column of the composite index command (http://www.dba-oracle.com/t_composite_index_multi_column_ordering.htm) where he writes that

    «.. . for composite indexes the most restrictive value of the column (the column with the highest unique values) should be made first to cut down the result set in... »

    But 10g performance tuning book tells the subject INDEX SKIP SCAN:

    "... Index scan Skip allows a composite index that is logically divided into smaller subindex. In Dumpster
    scanning, the first column in the composite index is not specified in the query. In other words, it is ignored.
    The number of logic subindex is determined by the number of distinct values in the first column.

    Skip scanning is advantageous if there are few distinct values in the main column of the composite index and many distinct values in the key do not tip of the index... »

    If design us a composite index according to what said Burleson, then how can we take advantage of index skip scan. These two staements to oppose each other, Don't they?

    Can someone explain this?

    Even if you're not skip scanning, it is best to put the column with less distinct values in the main column of the index.

    If a query specifies two key as predicates of equality columns, it doesn't really matter how columns are sorted in the index.
    If a query specifies a range on a key column, it is most likely on the second column of the index.

    BTW, sometimes even a column 3 or the index of the column 4 is useful. In order to not restrict simply yourself in 2 columns. However, do not create too many clues - especially if there is overlap between the index.

  • Change the default DPI for scanning in paint

    How can I change the default values for scanning for painting so that each scan is 300 dpi?

    I'll give you an answer. What the interrogator does not understand, is that MS Paint does not have a setting for the CIO. There is no default DPI setting in MS Paint. The setting is controlled by the scanner driver or scanner itself. MS Paint simply communicates with the driver for the scanner, which then continues to do the analysis, then once completed, he hands the digitized data back to MS Paint. Therefore, the parameters of the interrogator wants to know how to change are not in MS Paint. they are in the driver scanning interface. This driver determines how he manages the parameters after returning the scanned data to the connection/disconnection of call program, in this case MS Paint. Most of the drivers scan all right back to their default value. In the case of the user, it's 100 dpi, but another scanner, this could be 150dpi (common with many scanners a few years back), and by default most recent scanners often at 200 dpi. After scanning, you need to change the defaults anywhere from new, because once the scanner driver handed the scan back data to the calling program, it is no longer in communication with her. It doesn't matter whether you use MS Paint, Picasa, IrfanView, or any other program that connects to the scanner TWAIN. If you start with a scanner that has a default of 300 dpi, you would have thought that it was a question on. You can not insistent that no one answered your question if it is based on the wrong premise at first.

    Some scanners allow control of the scanner itself. I use a HP (all-in-One) printer/scanner combination. I can configure default to the control panel of the printer/scanner at 300 dpi or whatever value I want; I often put it at 600 dpi. Then I can scan directly from the scanner/printer and still get 300/600 dpi scans. By default the program to manage the registered file type determines which program will be executed when the image is sent to the computer. It could be MS Paint or IrfanView or whatever. Very often, I send the scans on a SD card on the printer instead. When I'm finished, I have a SD card with images scanned at 300 dpi that I take to another computer. Because the scanner/printer has been set to use 300 dpi by default, MS Paint, IrfanView or any other program that launches a scan will get also 300 dpi scans.

    What the questioner needs is a scanner which allows its default value to or one that is default to 300 dpi in a first time. If you try a new scanner, you will find that the parameters does not return to 100 dpi, but instead has regardless of the definition of the scanner as default.

    Given that most of the pilots to simple scanner always return to the default devices, and in this case, setting this parameter scanner is only 100 dpi, you can use a software that is specially designed to solve this program with its own resolution settings. An example is called "search". In its interface, you choose what the desired resolution, then when it communicates with the scanner, he deals with the change in the value whenever a scan is requested.

    If you use color or grayscale is a separate choice outside the DPI setting. Some scanners can scan to a different resolution for shades of gray than they do for the color. Nevertheless, the problem and the solution is the same.

  • How to create an index for a PK

    Hello

    Trying to name and create features for an index for a primary key must be created. I can't find this information in the documentation. Can someone explain how to do this?

    Thank you
    Bob Larsen

    Hi Bob,

    In the Data Modeler, you can first create an Index by opening the Table Properties dialog box in the relational model and select "Index" in the left panel.
    You can then use the button '+' to create a new Index and set its name and its columns (or his expression if you select the Expression of Index box).

    You can then ask to use this Index for the primary key as follows:-
    Navigate in the tree view of the browser to the node Table in the relevant physical model. If you expand that, it must contain an entry for the primary key.
    Open the properties of the primary key for this entry dialog box. On the general tab, set its property "with the help of the index" BY INDEX name, click its tab "with the help of the index' and set its property to"Existing Index"to refer to the relevant index.

    Moreover, in the primary key of physical model properties dialog box, you can set the property 'with the help of the index' to BY CREATE INDEX STATEMENT, and then on the 'Index to help' tab, you can enter the Index definition in the field 'Create Index Statement.

    How to validate the field "reason for change" in the commercial directions Summary tab using JavaScript?

    Current version of PLM4P: v6.1.1.5.2

    Please help me to validate the fields using JavaScript.

    Thank you

    Nefertari

    Developed using some of the Javascript predefined functions that we offer, it's just JavaScript and jQuery.

    But here is an example.

    (Use Internet Explorer F12 developer tools to find the IDS of the fields to work with.)

    $(document).ready(function() {

        if (UI_Ext_isSpecInEditMode && UI_Ext_HasWorkflowBehavior('1005'))
        {
           //normally, we can use jquery to retrieve elements ($('#ifOfInput).val()), but it seems to fail when the id and the name attributes are the same. so we just use javascript document.getElementById instead.
           var reasonForChange = document.getElementById('ctl01$SpecSummaryctl1$ctlCollapsibleContentContainer$ctl00$txtChangeReason')

           if (reasonForChange != null) {

                if (reasonForChange.value == null || reasonForChange.value.length == 0) {
                     UI_Ext_MarkFieldAsRequired('ctl01_SpecSummaryctl1_ctlCollapsibleContentContainer_ctl00_lblSpecSummaryReasonforChange');
                     alert('Reason For Change is required');
                }
           }
        }
    });

    However, not the user registration or workflow specification. If you were to do this, you must remove record them and workflow buttons and links, and this probably isn't the best practice. On the contrary, you would write validation server that would give you this error message if they try to save/workflow. (So most customers do not use Extensions of the user interface for this type of validation).

    Kind regards
