How to ban devices that no longer exist?

I just replaced the hard drive on my computer when it dies and when I installed iTunes, tried to connect and authorize my computer it told me I had too many authorized devices. I tried to get my permission to device via my iPhone but it didn't work. I have 2 devices currently I use which means I have three old permits which should be deleted. How can I do this using my lap top which is not allowed? Thank you!

Authorization

iTunes Store-Authorize or remove approval from your Mac or PC.

In iTunes, you use the option authorize this computer or to authorize this computer from the Store menu in iTunes menu bar. For Windows , use ALT-S to access. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 menus of iTunes: ITunes / shooting in menus iTunes Windows 8 and 7.

Exercise

You can disable allow individual computers, but only using these computers. The only other option is to allow "overall" your iTunes account.

1. open iTunes on a computer

2. from the Store menu, choose 'View my account... '. »

3. sign in with your Apple and the password.

4. under 'Computer permissions' select ' All of authorize.

5 allow each computer you have, you might need.

You can do this twice a year.

After you 'off to allow all' your computers authorized, re - authorize each of them according to the needs.

If you have authorized out of all computers and had to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - contact us.

For more information on the authorization and permission removal: iTunes Store-Authorize or remove approval from your Mac or PC.

OK, you're the man.  I found that the account administrator at the start is where to enter in my computer.  Does this affect where to save my file in the user accounts?  Can I remove user accounts if some are renamable isn't?

    Hello

Definitely. Go to the configuration/system control panel applet, under computer name, domain, and workgroup settings, click on change settings. Click on continue in the UAC prompt. Click on edit on the computer name tab and follow the instructions. You will need to restart to complete the task.

  • Creative cloud stupid attempt to synchronize files that no longer exist

I get a sync error failed boring on creative cloud (v. 2.1.1.110). It fails to synchronize 5 files that weren't supposed to be synchronized in the first place, because they are all old files that no longer exist. I mean, I consciously deleted these files of creative cloud long ago. They are not on my Mac. They aren't on the Web Creative cloud site (no not even as archived). The application tries to synchronize them anyway - which invites the error.

I tried to delete the folder 'Creative Cloud Files' from my Mac and Creative cloud restaurant just to make sure that these files 5 ghosts were not on my Mac. As I predicted, the app tried to synchronize 5 more I was actually on the cloud during the restoration. In my view, that proved enough that he the ghost files on Adobe servers.

I have an email from the Adobe Support that solved the problem:

    Hi Bruno.

We pushed an update Sunday (V 2.1.1.110), which should solve the problem.  If this isn't the case, please try to delete the db files, follow these steps:

    (1) quit Creative Cloud Desktop App and then the process CoreSync and Office Service from Adobe using the activity monitor (Mac) or the (Win) Task Manager

    2) go to:

    MAC: /Users/ /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync on Mac OS X

Note: Users of library user folder is hidden at startup with 10.7 or later version, see http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html

    WIN: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\CoreSync Windows

Note: The AppData folder is hidden by default this doc shows how to show if necessary, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/show-hidden-files-folders-extensions.html

    (3) then delete all files ending in .db, .db - shm or db.wal, and re start creative cloud (it should be 3 or 4 files, but could be more if you have many accounts signing in CreativeCloud)

    (4) restart Desktop creative cloud

My email backup is an old email that no longer exists.

This prevent me to reset my password for iMessage.

    Best

    Peter

So, your password for Messages is the password ID Apple that you are connected to Messages with, except if you use two-step verification, in which case, it would be a specific App password that you can build at any time.

Do you mean that you forgot your password Apple ID? Or, you use two-step?

    See you soon,.

    Hello

I am trying to create a homegroup on our home network (mix of Windows 7 and Windows 8 PCs). I can't create a new homegroup because all computers "know" that there is an old HomeGroup on one of the PCs.

The PC that is referenced as being the Group residential no longer exists. It was an old laptop and I did a clean install of Windows 8 on it.

Any suggestions on how I can get rid of this HomeGroup ghost host so I can create a new homegroup?

  • Can I import an old profile and prevent deletion of old emails that no longer exist on the server?

I removed all the emails from the server and archivated them locally. A few days later, I reinstalled my windows, but I forgot to save the profile Thunderbird.

I have an old backup, but whenever I try to use it, it doesn't (of course) delete all emails that do not exist on the server. Is it possible to avoid this automated sync or remove before opening the profile?

Looks like you are using an Imap account.
If you just try to save emails residing in mbox files (mbox files don't have any extension)

Make sure Thunderbird is closed before doing anything in the profile folder.
If you are familiar with the profile folder, you can copy paste the mbox files (without extension) in the account of 'Local folders' which is located in the folder "mail".
and then restart Thunderbird. the indexing file (.msf) will automatically be created.

    OR
Try to import them using a tool in "local folders".
    ImportExportTool addon:

    How to install the addon:
Download file as addon for desktop or downloads folder.

    In Thunderbird
Tools > icon menu or modules > Modules

    • Click the gear icon and select "install the addon from file".
    • Find the downloaded as file and click 'open '.
    • You have to restart Thunderbird.

Make a right click on the "Local Folders" folder or another folder in "Local folders"
Choose "ImportExporttools" > "file Mbox import.
Select "Import directly one or more mbox files" and click OK

Find the folder of mbox files backup profile
Select mbox files, and then click 'open '.
It has to import the folder containing emails.

  • Delete the icons of the programs on the Start Menu that no longer exists on the computer

Original title: deliver all the Apps

    Hello

When I go into applications, there are a lot of them out there that doesn't exist anymore, or records in which they were, but they are like zombies.  How to clean this list?

Yes, it could be the case.

Most of the time, when make us any changes to the system, restart us the computer so that the changes are applied. But in this case, programs were already uninstalled from the computer and just program icons had to be removed. So Windows must have updated the parameters of the Solution Explorer so that changes to the Explorer (Start menu as well as office) are applied.

Please let us know in this regard.

I deleted an outlook e-mail account express and put a new e-mail account, but now I get an error message on the account of fist and I don't know how to get rid of it please help me!

Go to shipping and the view box. Current view | Show all messages and make sure that there is no message there.  Delete all if there is.  Then go to tools | Accounts and are looking for the old account and highlight and select Remove.  Then see if that solves it.  If not, try to go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  This will give you a new message store and you can add to your new account there and when it works, use file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.
