  Even though I know this isn't answering your question, let me stress the design element: in the ADF, view objects are intended to replace beans support / managed in ADF in detention is. It is one of the worst confusion with ADF + ADF BC, where people still use accompanying beans on the scope of the session/view/task flow to maintain user state.   I have documents stored in the part library materials - an example would be a report card scanned.

  I have pictures which was held as part of photo library - an example would be a photograph of the school.

  I have audio files which was held as part of the library music - an example would be the voice of a child for registration.

  All the foregoing is directly related, and what I want to know - is possible to connect the three elements that has someone opening (for example) the pdf file in the documents library as there are two other elements (directly related) place elsewhere in the library? It would be useful if someone wanted to delete an item without realizing that the other elements are linked to it.

  Another example:

  A brochure of the theatre (pdf) which was held in documents - where our children were part of a production.

  A film of the show in the videos.

  Pictures of before, during and after the show.

  Again, it would be useful to "bind" the elements in a way so that anyone (other than the originator) knows that what is perceived also has linked items.

  A final example (for years).

  Invitation of marriage service (word document), the list etc.

  Wedding photos.

  Wedding videos.

  Audio file of the days proceedings.

  I forgot to say running Windows 7 Professional on a desktop with 300 GB of 'stuff' in the library. For safety, I copy the contents of the library to two external drives.

  Also, I have a laptop running Windows 8.1 and have these machines (and others) on homegroup.

  You change the z order of the Timeline object main... I think you want the button change z pos, not the entire timeline. If you simply change the z to the button of the affected area will work as expected. So, the above code would be:

  I use the following query in my app that works very well. Although I'm not an expert in PL/SQL, can someone please suggest how can I make the query more efficient? Because I use the same contract for every query table. Only difference is that in the name of the condition column. Again I am showing same column comments for each request. I was wondering if I can join these 3 and do 1 single request if possible

  But I doubt that it makes things very slow.   If your PL/SQL performance is poor, I suspect that the cause is somewhere that you haven't posted.

  The GET more feature works in the browser because there is a separate servlet 'list' that retrievs data. It is based on some data to the HTTP context for correct operation. Unfortunately the 'do more' function is not supported by the Servlet XAI (it does not on the context HTTP data). Your only option is to roll your own mechnaism of paging for the data that you need.

  The model is going to like it...

  1. develop SQL code for what you want to paginate
  2. create a new "Listings Service" class that acts as a underlying service
  3 mark the service with entries include the size of the page and you want to retrieve the page number
  4. annotate the service with a list of data that will be returned
  5. use the page size and page number to create and run the query, and build the result
  6 enter the service as a Service of inbound XAI
  7. deploy the code
  8. test using dynamic presentation

  I searched all autour for this, and I'm guessing that the answer could be so simple that no tutorial it doesn't even mention:

  How can I link the blocks of text between pages? I made a block of text in each master page and then connected one left with the one on the right. Indeed, all of the text in the document is linked from the page on the left of the right-hand page. But how do I link the page on the right with the following two pages 'below' in the document?

  If I'm not clear, here is another attempt to explain: I'm going to insert a lot of text in a document, and I already know the size and the type of text block, I want the text inserted. When I put the text in the left side, it connects (goes on) the block of text on the right side. But it stops there. So I have to manaully through both pages, which connects the right page "at the top" with the left 'below', page by clicking on the image by clicking on the small arrow in the lower right corner, and clicking on the next page below. There must be a way to organize it in master pages or in some other way?

  Two things...

  For "automatic formatting" to work with Captain linked frames page, you must NOT release the Master frame before placing the text, and you must click inside the image area, not any sort of guide.
