How to bookmark streams internet radio in WMP 12, Windows 7?

I love the new WMP 12 in Windows 7 (and 7 is also very good) and I'm happy that she now easily play all the normal video/audio formats (xvid, divx, etc.). Although I prefer to use WMP exclusively for my all my needs audio-video :) and so reduce the number of programs that I installed, I have a problem. How can I search internet radio through the main window of favorite and oenological practices then favorite streams (easily)? IE is there a nonprofit library with URLS of radio feature? (vs typing address each time).

Hi Erin B,.

Welcome to the Microsoft answers site!

We had the ability to record Radio stations in Windows Media Player 11 as a complement to the Stations, this feature seems to be deleted in

Windows Media Player 12. However the songs listened to once is automatically saved into the playlist and you can still listen to their of the saved

reading list.

Visit the link below that tells you the functions of WMP 12:

Hope this information was useful.

Why does it seem that I lost track upward on my response to the suggestions made by Debleena S?  Please view my previous postings about this problem and the Advisor.  Thank you.

I found the answer on my own.

For those of you who have experienced this same problem take note of what I did to solve this delemma.

I thought that since the radio station internet, that I wanted to listen to a playlist Ares Ultra, and as I remember removing a program from my computer list Ares, I started to do a Google search on Ares Ultra.  I then started to read the terms and Conditions, etc. of their software.  I didn't like what I was reading.  Finally, I opened a discussion with this company called official Ares Ultra.  I asked the operator at their end.  I asked the WMP and the Ares Ultra playlist.  They knew nothing of what was going on with the WMP.  In addition, they said that they were not Ares Ultra but the official Ares Ultra.  Gezzzzzzzz!  What nonsense it is.

Well, I tried to go back to Microsoft - everyone's favorite company!  I have downloaded WMP 11 again to my computer which is running XP.

Yet once, I tried in vain to listen to an internet radio station.  However, after inspecting more of the WMP site, I found: STREAM SPEED LOW / HIGH.

    That made me curious!

I found that 'High' for computers internet connection DSL.

So, I clicked on 'High '.

Now, finally, my internet radio stations are coming through!  YIPPIE!

    Apparently, this is the answer!

  • Windows Media Player-internet radio streams don't play

Problem of Audio streaming with WMP__

    Hello

I try to play the audio with wmp as a customer of an authenticated http stream internet radio (continuous 24/7). WMP stops playing each time meter hits 99 h and 23-25 minutes.

I get the same result of different PCs running the two Vista (Home Basic SP1) and XP (unknown version) which is totally different places and with different user names.

I also have the same result regardless of using the embedded wmp (6BF52A52-394A-11D3-B153-00C04F79FAA6) or standalone player (file version 11.0.6001.7008 / product version 11.0.6000.6324)

The flow MP3 96kbit and the streamserver is Icecast using basic http authentication.

When the time counter reaches 99.25 animating text buffer/station name: running on empty and the music stop and the icon of control going on pause icon display (as in playback) to display the play button (as when paused).

When you press play after stopping the unexcpected it starts just the animation buffer without any response. The program must be restarted.

I set up new test accounts with Winamp and VLC, I thought it could have been a kind of default authentication time-out value drop the customer or some kind of new authentication problem.

I couldn't reproduce the problem with Winamp or VLC, both continue to play without problems.

If it is problem specific WMP or perhaps the configuration problem in version stand alone or set up missed in the embedded version, I'd appreciate some advice.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

  • Dash Internet Radio Streamer

I noticed some problems with the new application streaming Internet Radio.

    1. the volume control does not work once the stream is started
    2. the flow cannot be stopped without unplugging the unit from the wall. The stop button is disabled.
    3. the alarm does not work if there is an active stream.

My volume control works very well. My stop button works fine.

I have not tried an alarm while streaming.

I wonder why mine would be different? Maybe there is a problem during the upgrade? Maybe there is a way to reload the new software.

  • Can broadcast is more internet radio?

I can no longer stream internet radio after updating to the latest version of iTunes.

I have download the stream on my site of selected radio and always get a file as .m3u. When I double click on it, it is imported into my iTunes library under a new play called Internet songs list. If I hit the play button, nothing happens. If I right click and select 'Start the station', I get a popup window that says:

    "Get on our wavelength.

Join Apple music and get positions in all situations. In addition, stream almost all songs ever recorded, get hadnpicked recommendations, explore take our experts on the best new music. »

My options are cancel or join Apple music.

When I click on cancel, the above process repeats and I get the pop-up again. If I click on join Apple music, I learned that I can get a free three-month trial.

Can I no longer broadcast radio via iTunes without having to pay for music from Apple? How can I disable that stupid popup window?

  • No sound on internet radio.

I can't get no sound from the Internet Radio on WMP.  The station I usually listen to is Baroque 1. Otto FM.  Any suggestions?

    Hello

You have two audio drivers, which may be contradictory. And as your Intel driver is also your video driver, I would try to disable the driver Conexant HD. To do this, go back to Device Manager, select the Conexant driver, right click and select Disable (not uninstall). See if that makes a difference.

Let me know how you fare.

    Kind regards

  • How can I get all internet radio to work again in iTunes?

I am running iTunes version in Mac OS X version 10.11.6 12.4.2.4 (El Capitan) on a MacBook Pro. When I go into iTunes and not select the option of internet radio stations under news / talk of work. For example, WMAL does not, and yet I can get the live stream of Safari or FIrefox. How can he get all the internet radio stations under Radio Internet option at work?

    Please notify.

I still use iTunes 7.5, so I can't verify or deny these workstations.  I don't think that there is nothing that you can do to change their mode of operation in iTunes.  If you can get the URL of the actual flow of the web site of the station you can open it with iTunes and it will be added as a regular track that you can then put in a playlist you do for these stations.

Edit: I just couldn't WMAL to play when I tried to play on their web site. Maybe its watercourse is down?
