How to calibrate NI 9263 & NI 9215

Hi all

I'm trying to re - calibrate these 2 devices. I have read the documents OR officials on this procedure and I do not understand what he wants me to do. I created the VI in the document but I'm not sure how that helps me with the calibration.

I need the calibration because there seems to be a noise in my data. For example when a value should be zero, I get negative values which I can't write my devices.

I have attached the pdf that I downloaded from the Web site of NOR and the VI who built for calibration.

Any help or suggestions you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

msmartei

Hello MSMARTEI,

the calibration procedure shows you, how to measure the signals emitted by the unit.

so you can see if your device is in series with the specifications or not.

If the device is out of reach and you want to rewrite the internal register of the card.

You need a software called calibration executive http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/de/nid/12547

and the necessary equipment for your device to rewrite records.

The VI´s must be connected together to perform the measurements.

Best regards

How to calibrate the heart rate monitor that shows a too high concentration?

    Hello

It is not possible to calibrate the heart rate sensor. However, various factors can affect the performance of the detector.

During training, to optimize the performance of the heart rate sensor, ensure that you wear your watch fits on top of your wrist.

Apple suggests that consider you the clamping Strip before starting a workout and it loosen again thereafter.

The sensor is likely to give better results for the workouts that involve rhythmic (for example running) rather than the irregular movements (e.g., tennis). Other problems that can affect the performance of the sensor include the perfusion of the skin and wrist tattoos.

  • How to calibrate the PCI-6110 with NOR-DAQmx

    Hello

I am a new user of the PCI-6110 Council tries to run the calibration using LabVIEW procedure. I look at the document "Calibration" on the page of the manuals for the Board of Directors,

    http://sine.NI.com/NIPs/nisearchservlet?nistype=psrelcon&NID=11888&lang=us&q=FQL: 28locale % 3Aen % 29 + AND + % 28phwebnt % 3 A 1081 + OR + phwebnt % 3 A 7075% 29 + AND + 28nicontenttype % 3Aproductmanual % 29 + AND + % 28docstatus % 3Acurrent % 29% 20RANK % 20nilangs: en & title = NOR + PCI-6110 + manual

One of the first steps in the document is to call the AI_Configure command to set the input mode, beach, etc. I'm using LabVIEW 8.5 with the NOR-DAQmx software, and I can not find the command (which, in LabVIEW, seems to be "AI Config.vi") anywhere. The calibration paper was written in 2003, and I gather from Google searches (please, correct me if wrong) that this command is actually a part of NOR-DAQ traditional, who was replaced by driver OR DAQmx.

My question is this: what is the equivalent to AI_Configure command in the latest software? Is it perhaps a subsequent document describing how to calibrate using NOR-DAQmx?

    Thanks much for any help.

    Hi Tom,

The calibration Procedure series B, E, M, S, which is also linked from this page, describes how to calibrate the PCI-6110 with NOR-DAQmx.

    3. Click on appearance and personalization
    4. Click on display
    5. In the left column, click the calibrate color option
    6. Follow the on-screen instructions

I hope this helps! Please mark this procedure as an answer if this helps and Bravo will be appreciated.

How to calibrate the screens of Adobe products? I will mostly use Illustrator and Photoshop. Can make all the difference between calibration and the Hardware calibration software using (Spider)? Thank you.

    I use U2415 from Dell.

I use the Spyder Pro 4. The process is quite simple - install the software, plug the Spyder and follow the steps listed in the program. I would recommend also, install the latest version of the software directly from the site of Datacolor instead to install from the disc supplied (probably outdated).

  • Satellite R850 - faulty battery indicator? How to calibrate?

My Satellite R850 stops at about 70% of the battery capacity. It is not suspended, just power off. Market is possible only when the AC adapter is reconnected. My first guess is that (after only a year of daily use), the battery had its best time and must be replaced.

But why the battery indicator only shows the right capacity, so I can get a warning to low battery power?
Is there a tool or method for recalibrating the battery?

    Hello

To me, that shows that your battery is defective.
Usually sooner or later each battery needs to be replaced because the battery life is limited.
I have no idea how old your battery is but in my case the battery is 5 years old and he hold the power for about 2 min only. But the funny thing is that the battery indicator indicates battery is fully charged (100%).

However, you can extend the lifetime of battery a little bit. You need to calibrate the battery from time to time in charge and discharge of battery. This procedure should be repeated several times is the row
But I guess these calibrations and your battery failure doesn't help much.

  • How to calibrate the battery for Satellite P750

I have a Satellite P750 seems to also have a problem with the battery when it is asleep and NOT trendy
She stops going flat in about 3 hours.

Nothing connected except a dongle for the mouse. And he sleeps there is no display going.
It is a few months old... I think it can be calibrated

Can someone please tell me how to recalibrate the battery.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

You can calibrate the battery very easily.
Disconnect the power adapter and leave the laptop disconnected until the battery is completely discharged.
Then plug in the power adapter and charge the battery until the battery indicator (LED) would turn to green.
This must be done and repeated 2 - 3 times in the line.

  • USB-6008, how to calibrate two signals are equal entry?

HI all, I use NI USB-6008 and evaluation of labview 8.5, using the daq assistant.

1st quarter) to calibrate the two input voltage signals become equal?

Q2) I used the comparison for example function: not equal.  When the two entries get value not equal, how to output of 0-5 v output?

If someone need more information to help me, I can provide.

Not sure at all what you mean by "0-5 v output to the output. Want you the difference between the two inputs to output?

In addition, two input signals will probably never equal. It's just not something that exists in the numbers floating point on a computer. You must subtract one from the other and uses in the range and force the function to determine if they are close enough.

  • How to calibrate correctly?

    Hello!

I want to calibrate my properly and I am little confused.

There are too many parameters and assistants. First of all there are display settings (brightness, contrast, black level, color temperature, sharpness). Second - graphics card settings (hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, color temperature, color correction curves). Third - there is the Windows color management settings in the control panel (ICC profiles, profiles of WCS, etc.). Fourth - Adobe Gamma. Firth - can I use colorimeter to set so LUT.

How all this level of parameters are related? In what order they should be changed? What color temperature is "best"? How Adobe gamma in correlation with the wizard of Windows 7 color management? Which is better? (They produce different profiles).

I want 'just' take pictures of what I see, then see on display more or less precisely and print it out.

You know some good books or articles on color management?

    Thank you.

    1. turn off everything in the video card, or reset to the default values. Even with the monitor.

    2. set the color management Windows 'use my settings for this device' (screen). Leave everything default (or reset by default).

    3. connect the sensor and launch the software. Set the white point on the D65 (6500 ° K) temperature, gamma 2.2 and point white luminance for 120 cd/m². Here are the settings for general use. You won't change until you know why you want to change them.

    4. adjust monitor brightness in the OSD of the monitor controls to get the white point up to 120 cd/m². For this the calibrator should be a "pre-calibration" - function that reads the value off the screen while you adjust.

If the standard does not have a luminance target setting (some don't), manually adjust to a comfortable level, which gives a good match to the printed output.

    5 calibrate.

    6. it is, you are finished. The monitor profile that results is automatically set as the default value for that display, and Photoshop will find and use it to display (while many other applications is just ignore it).
