How to cancel a transfer of files of Windows XP to Windows 7?
Cancel a transfer of files from Windows XP to Windows 7, or remove files from Windows 7 without having to format my hard drive because Microsoft lied in regard of Windows Easy Transfer transfer only what was selected.
I stupidly thought the video Microsoft on how to make an easy transfer from the Windows of an old pc that is running Windows XP to Windows 7. I went through and customized transfer and only has 1 verified folder, but not only is he transferred the file, but it also transferred everything on XP without my selecting. In fact, I had deselected everything except the 1 folder.
So now, how can I get this _c * r * a * p___ on the new computer laptop running Windows 7 without having to format?
You know, I had no problem transfer this file even the XP to XP one another nor I transferred the same XP over Vista. And Microsoft has the nerve to brag about the pre-installed Windows Easy Transfer 7 as being much better and easier to handle compared to previous versions?
In addition, the video on the Microsoft site when it shows the steps of Windows 7 Easy Transfer, is incorrect. Not only once he asked me where I wanted to send the folder on the pc with Windows 7.
Hi Cowtale,
Please note Windows Easy Transfer is a migration in one way and you will not be able to restore the original settings.
I suggest to format the drive, then run Windows easy transfer on your computer.

How to play .aac or .m4a files in Windows media player 11
Hello
Can someone tell me how to play .aac or .m4a on Windows Media Player 11 files?I need an answer desperately please!Thank you.Hello
The .m4a and .aac file extension is not a type of supported Windows Media Player file. However, you can user your favorite search engine to search for a solution that can convert the file in a supported file type Windows Media Player.
Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

How do I move/transfer all files/folders etc. from one user to another-windows xp sp3
because I couldn't get some apps to work reading under my username, I created a new user and they work, but I don't want the two users. How can I mover everything of the old user to the new user?
Sign in with your administrator account, go to C:\Documents and Settings and you will find all users. Copy the files/folder that you want from a user and paste to the other user. For example, you can copy files from C:\Documents and Settings\User1\Desktop and paste to C:\Documents and Settings\User2\Desktop.
